it's been very helpful,now  i know the fastest way to get my cat to the ideal weight again 

however, i would like to add that you CAN swap your pet . you just go to the pet paradise, and you get the message: ''Warning ! You already have a pet, you cannot have two pets. However, you can change your old pet for a new pet.'' and the options ''Keep pet'' and ''Swap pet''. By choosing the second, you can get a new one, but you have to pay 9.000 BD.

also, you can change your pet's name . just go to your profile, go on the info tab, and right at the bottom you have options like 'Delete my account', 'Reset my account', and 'Rename pet'.

PS., i have no idea if what i said has already been told, i just wanted to add info to the main post.

Some of the info in this thread is outdated...Pets don't die, so don't be overly concerned. My pet has had a weight in the negative numbers and still give me BA.

Yes - I've got the bimbo feeding nicely sorted out with the steak/chips and water regime every few days, but the cat is quite a struggle and has to be fed every day - sometimes more than once. I don't really want to see the poor little fellow go into negative weight, but he just eats and eats and eats... 

He's happy enough I guess, though I don't dare play with him as this makes him lose even more weight. I'm trying to see it all as the cost of the BA he gives me every day, but if anyone has any useful tips they'd be gratefully received!!!
