Yes, and it is said to be about 7.7lbs. Though, people have had pets that weight up to 20lbs, and still appear to be max happy & healthy. So, it appears to vary. As long as you watch your pet's happiness, and it stays at 100%, then whatever its weight, it should be fine. Though, 7.7 has been said to be the ideal weight.

I agree; if your pet is showing up as constantly happy and healthy then the weight thing is probably just a glitch, and appears to be having no real negative effect. I doubt the mods would be able to help you with this; as pets are not generally their area of 'assistance', but sending izzyfairy a pm might help (she is in admin.)
Pets do give 100BA per day as Sap said; to check these kinds of things yourself you can go to the My Bimbo tab up the top of your screen, and then click on 'My Daily Budget and Statistics' near the bottom on the right

Oh I wasn't asking about how much I get per day from my pet.. I was asking if having a pet that wieighed -0.3683 would have a negative effect on my BA.

I'm pretty sure your pet would die before its weight would get to negative figures!
