Security and Cheating

i recieved some mails like:"5 bimb'pops because you're pretty" or "hy,i gived you 5 bimb'pops..."
but i don't have them anymore ^_^
i remember just one name;katrina if you want i pm you this name

I wvs wondering how one would cheat at something like this? But, I guess they just give their main acount bimb'pop was it? To raise their chances of being on the podium? I guess that would be considered cheating if it's that way.

Well I just caught someone with about 50 accounts.

Please, please come forward.  Now is your change to be honest.  Whether it's one extra account or 50, it's cheating and it's wrong.  Since I caught this person before she came forward she will have a much more severe punishment than if she had just come forward on her own.

222 accounts is still the highest cheater so far.  Hope we don't find someone with even more...

This needs to stop. Are people so desperate to get ahead? It's a game. This is absolute non-sense!

I suggest if anyone has multiple accounts, come forward now. Spare the Mods and yourself the trouble and come clean before it's too late. You will only make it worse by lying.

I hope it is not one of the more popular posters on the forum , or a long time player as it would very embarrassing for them
I hope that the cheaters or treated firmly but fairly, i do not envy the people making the choices for punishment.

Basically if someone comes forward we may not even punish them, just give them a warning.  We really appreciate honesty.

If we catch someone and they apologize, they will likely be punished...

...but for those that are caught and then *deny* it, they have the biggest punishments.  And the punishment fits the crime - it really depends on the volume of accounts and cheating.

The vast majority of players are honest, like you, thankfully!  It's just these bad apples that try and ruin it for everyone else.  Luckily there's a strong enough base of great people that keep it so wonderful here!

That being said, cheaters smell and bring down the room.  We're trying very hard to get rid of them.  And thanks to all the great people that report cheaters or activities they think go against the rules.

Mostly it's for cheating.  Raising stats or money or both.  Some people aren't satisfied to do it the right way and they make all these accounts instead.  The best is when they deny it, like they think we're stupid.  "I don't cheat!!!!"  Or really?  Because how do you account for the four dozen user names tied to your house?

I can't help but wonder if any of the cheaters were on the podium.
No...don't tell me....that would just lead to an icky mess.
