So the talk of going on holiday this summer has began. And it seems one of my friends is determined for a clubbing holiday.
2 years ago we went to Kavos. It was good, I had fun. Got a tan, got drunk and it was my first holiday without my parents.
However it was like a hotter version of England. Swarming with English people my age. They do my head in enough in England why would I then want to go and be with them in another country? I feel like I have experience the whole get drunk for a week thing. I mean I was at uni last year that was like get drunk everyday for a year.
I like my holidays to involve me seeing new things and emersing myself in the culture. Even when these are holidays in England.
So I was wondering if anyone knows any places that have a mixture of nightlife yet are still in a setting that is obviously that of the country you are in not england, ie locals, not rows of mcdonals, subway, kfc ect.
Also preferably hot, by the sea and in Europe.

Try Paphos in Cyprus if you haven't already been there. There's quite a few clubs, restaurants and typically English things on the sea front, but if you head into the old town there's so much culture and so many beautiful little bazaars, there's also a fort, amiptheatre ruins and accessible catacombs really close to the town centre. Paphos is a great location for traveling to the other tourist sites on the Greek side of the island.

If you really don't want to meet some turists, then you should try Oradea or Cluj-Napoca

Is the seaside a total must? I was in Prague 3 years ago and it was amazing, loads of culture, great weather, and UNBELIEVABLE nightlife and seriously cheap booze! It has like one of the biggest nightclubs in Europe I think? And yes, so cheap. It's a really gorgeous city too, I loved it! No beach though... but it's awesomeness in all other areas makes up for that I think!

Paphos seems like a place my friends would go for.
Unfortunately Romania and Prague doesn't. I definately would like to go the them. They look so beautiful sea side or not, stunning!
I was talking to a guy at work earlier about eastern Europe and he was telling me about how much he loves it. It really does look so nice. I know my mum has always wanted to go to Prague. Maybe one day me and my mum can go visit Eastern Euope.
