There's this woman from Thailand who came to Malaysia 2 years ago to try selling fried chickens... I love her fried chickens and she is also very friendly, I start to be friends with her since then, she even occasionally give me fried chickens for free if I happen to pass by her stall...
But a few days ago she told me that she finally had enough money to go back to Thailand and spend more time with her two kids... So she decided to have the fried chicken stall to be taken over by a man who lives around my area... I will definitely miss her...
She told me that she will be here until Sunday, so I plan to make/buy her a gift as a parting gift... Can anyone here tell me what would be nice to give to her...? I don't mind handcrafts too since it's part of my hobby... Thank you for reading this...

Thats the problem... I doubt that she could read English, we both talked using Chinese language but she couldn't read Chinese... I can't find Thai-languaged books...

give her something very Malaysian to remind her of her time there. Or something very 'you' so that she can better remember you. A framed picture?
...I also like the idea of a hand knitted fried chicken. That's pretty cute

I'd recommend a necklace or earrings that have a small ornament at the end. It's not too personal but it's thoughtful. Get her something small for her kids too, like a cellphone decoration or flowers.

She is a simple woman, that she don't wear much accessories, but I like the idea of cell phone decoration for her kids... ^_^
Darladoodle, perhaps a Malaysian handcraft keychain would do...

Flowers? I bit unoriginal but most ladies love flowers.

A Malaysian handcraft keychain would probably be really nice. I'm sure she'd appreciate anything you made for her or got her.
Maybe even you could just make some pretty little thing, like a little knick-knack or hand painted picture frame, little vase, whatever kind of crafts you do. If you do anything like knitting or crochet, maybe you could make a pretty little placemat or decoration of some sort.

I would say, buy her or make something culturally unique to your city. I don't know much about Malaysia, but a small token of something she would only see in your country would be a reminder of the fun and joy of her time spent with you.
I had a second though, a specially engraved set of Chop-sticks. Food was the theme of your relationship with her, and it would always remind her of the love you felt with her.
She may not even use them for eating, but special ones are also worn in hair. I would think that would be a wonderful memory.

Perhaps a journal that she can write in and some stamped post cards that she can use to keep in touch with the frinds that she made in her time there.

I gave her a soft toy chicken that holds a Malaysian flag... She seemed so surprised, and happy too... ^_^
