Re: Bash on other peoples habits

There's so many things that we don't need in life too besides sugar, drugs and tobacco but that doesn't mean these items should be taxed, they have proven to be useful if taken in small amounts, and we do have people in real life who needed some sugar to get going...

I think ultimately people should make their own choices when they buy any products, instead of having the government to scare them by using laws or taxes... But I'm saying this without fully knowing what is going on in the US though, so if my opinion seemed ignorant excuse me...

This has never made any sense to me. They talk about raising taxes on alcohol all the time in England, with the same idea, but I don't see how it would work. People who want the alcohol (or sugar in this case) will spend their money on it, however much it costs, and then have less money left over for healthy things, therefore getting less healthy overall.

Totally proven throughout history to be true.  However  governments love to use such inflammatory junk science, to find a new segment of any population to oppress in the search for more money.  Lets  be serious.
Oranges have sugars in them.  Apples too.  Perhaps  the total elimination of all Banana trees is the solution to an epidemic.

A healthier life is actually being defined as a way to tax, by a very stupid DR.  (IE: first post)  As far as I learned people need sugars.

What I find unhealthy,  is a new found dependance  on anti-depressants in western culture.  Feel a little sad:  visit a doctor, get a drug,  go crazy,  kill  your children.
This seems to be a very common thing,  that I've been noticing.  I can't help but to read the news from around America,  and it happens all the time.  I have first hand experience with this, by seeing my childhood friend  who is on those drugs.  A mother who not once ran over her own child,  but it was deemed an accident,  but  she did it again a year later.  also deemed an accident.   She was just high on medically prescribed drugs.  It couldn't be her fault for crushing her own children with a van. (?)

Men are over stimulated with porn,  and kill children.  Mothers are doped up,  and kill their children.  This whole situation seems to be a population control measure,  that Hitler could have only dreamed of doing in his time.  Even better,  the government is making money doing it.  As if Abortion wasn't good enough.(?)
So blame 'Sugar' for the next problem, and continue the poor to have free access to it,  in the common rally cry  of ' Fighting Obesity.'
