Hi... So i was just wondering if you ever feel that your not good at anything because... well i was just thinking about that.
I had tried out for a play on monday and i didn't get a callback, so I'm obviously not very good at acting, even though i like it quite a bit. I also like to sing though i don't think I'm very good at it either. I love any art project though my projects always end up looking like a 6 year old did them. I like to dance but i have been told I look awkward when I'm doing it.
Is it possible to just not be good at anything? And if not, is it normal to be awful at all the things you love to do? Sometimes i wish i didn't like the things i do because its quite discouraging to be bad at something you love.
And i can't just not be good at anything because I'm not astonishingly beautiful so i can't do something like model or be a housewife.

So your creative side kinda sucks? Doesn't matter, if you like what you do then do it.
I'm not a good swimmer but that doesn't stop me from getting in the water.
If you suck so bad you can't do the things you love, then find new things you're good at. Idk try math maybe.

sad thing is im good at math but i think its the most boring thing...

If you were 33 and making this post I’d be worried about you. But as you’re only 13, plenty of time to discover your hidden talents or improve the ones you have now. You’re far too young to write yourself off as hopeless.

I can't dance, draw, sing, act, play an instrument or anything really fancy and I'm almost 23.
It does get me down occasionally, but you know what? I'm an excellent writer, and because of that I was published twice in middle school. I take pride in my writing.
Find something you're good at and that you love. Once you do that, hold onto it. Make it your own. Never let it go.

I'm the total opposite of you... I'm definitely someone very creative, I could do graphic designing, drawing, handcrafts, visualize/imagination, singing, etc, but everytime I try to do some complicated Math, or simply fix a gadget/machine like cars, cell phones, tv, I felt like the stupidest girl on Earth...
It just goes to show everyone that we are all different and even if you can find two people being good at the same area, they will never do it the same way as each other... So it doesn't help yourself or anyone at all that you were upset with what you can't do...
Also since we're both the total opposites, you can consider that maybe this means one of us uses the right side of the brain more while the other left side of the brain more... You can search it up around the internet about this...

You're only 13, as you go through school and discover new experiences, you'll find your talents. ALSO, if you really are passionate about something (like singing, dancing etc) you can go to classes or clubs and improve your skills. It's not the end of the world

One of my favorite quotes of Einstein sums this up well. Like everyone has been saying- you are still very young, and it is quite likely that you have not explored enough to find something you can be passionate about and very good at. Be patient, keep an open mind, and always try new things. In time, you will find something you are good at and love

Who cares that your not the best at everything... don't let it stop you from doing things that you love. The more you do these things the better you will get. A professional oboist didn't become a professional oboist over night. (don't know why I chose an oboist as an example lol).

There are lots of things I can't do but I try them anyway just for the fun of it.
I just do the things I can do more often to make myself feel accomplished at them.

The more you do something, the better you get maybe?
If i stopped playing bass because i wasnt good at the start, i'd never be as good as i am now.
If you cant sing, dance, draw ect then just practice more, your better at the things you love to do because you dont get bored of it.

i love singing, dancing and artsy stuff but i am never good enough. i am just mediocre in all the things i like to do which is pretty much everything and i get really pissed at myself at times but it's alright i am sure i will find my true calling eventually
so even you should not lose hope and remember practice makes a man perfect

I am extremely creative. I'm excellent at art, english and writing and I am also not too bad with drama. I'm not musically gifted, but I'm not awful, and I do music because I enjoy it.
If you enjoy something, don't give it up!
I cannot do maths or sciences to save my life! I'd love to be able to understand more than simple equations, but I can't do it.
The more you practice, the better you get. Keep working, you will find something you are good at and enjoy soon.

Girl, the thing I'm best at is getting hurt on stuff that people normally don't hurt them selves on certainly way more often than the people who do! Like, I always cut myself on the upper (and so not sharp) side of a knife xD you're gonna find something someday
I'm quite good at stuff like drawing and sewing but it's nothing special
and can tab artistry, which is not hard at all, but I'm able to imagine my designs when I begin and that makes it a lot easier

I love singing, but I guess I don't sound good either! I just do it because it's fun, it's not like I have to gain my money with that.
I am good at sports and I like it.
I want to do something with art or design later in my life, at the moment I want to become interiour designer. You know what ? I can't even draw that well. Maybe a little. But not enough.

Hey, I'm horrible at math, physics, chemistry, but languages and art are my best friends. If you're not sure what is your talent, maybe you should try different things. Try to play some instrument, to paint, write, polish your nails, cook, try everything.

I honestly believe I am not good at anything. I get by at my job, but by no means am I a lifesaver. It's not rocket science to be a substance abuse counselor (you don't even need a college degree) and other than that, I don't have any type of career to fall back on. I have an English degree, but I'd say out of my graduating class, I was pretty average in that area.
I'd say I excel in dance, although I've had no formal training or school with that, so there's no possible chance I could ever do anything with it.
So...I'm average and I wish on a regular basis I could feel like I 'specialized' in SOMETHING. But I don't.

You don't have to be good at everything, and it's not like your bad at acting when you tried out, it's just maybe someone had a little bit more experience than you did. all you need is more practice(:

Don't be sad, I sometimes feel like you, just relax or sleep, then think about the things you love and do it
