I'm sorry if i'm misunderstanding this but... isn't this blackmailing? saying " I will give you a sale if you vote for me" ??

Edit: and it says: "up to 80% off sale". this does not mean that it WILL be an 80% off sale. it could mean just a 20% sale. I don't see the point in voting...

No. This isn't blackmailing. Bribery, maybe, but no blackmailing. Blackmailing is when someone threatens to give out info that you want to keep secret (Or makes something up) if you don't give them money or something else. I don't see that happening here.

no, 80% means that something that is 1000 bd will be on ly 200 bd on sale. I can give you 100% guarantee.
But it will be 80%(75% for non vibs) only if she is first. And by not voting you ruin this.
For being 10th and up we will get 35% and up on the sale. For now we are 9th, even though so little vote.

For what it seams you will have a sale because of us and if you buy a thing from it without voting, then shame on you, stick to your "principals" after the voting is over, not only when you have to do something. I know that some that are not voting will not take advantage from the sale, please be like them if you chose not to vote. Be honest to yourself ask this question: "Am I going to buy from the sale if it's 80%" and if the answer is yes, then vote, because otherwise what kind of principals are we talking about. This is for the majority that will not vote out of laziness and will take advantage of the sale if there is some. If you are not one of them, then those words are not for you.

No, I didn't say that. I said that I have no interest in any sale since if I want to buy something, I can. That doesn't mean that I have more BD than I can spent it on.
I was working on the goals to buy all of Nine's. Since the Bodyguard-adventure that's no longer possible - unless I wanted to wait untill I'm 90 or so. tongue

But since MB thinks it's better to take away BD from the players so they have to buy BD, instead of making things on this site so good that players are willing to spent all their BD on it (like new clothes), I decided I will be one of those players MB looked at when they decided that players have to much BD, namely the millionaires.

I think that if the mods were running this site, MB would be better of.

I just don't see the need to vote. Why? Well, I'm a VIB since the beginning and I bought a lot of BD too - befóre Chris returned.
And what did it bring me? Not the things that were promised. I'm still a VIB though. So I'm still loyal.

The players gave Chris a whole lot of suggestions to get real money out of this site - only 1 was implemented; players designing new clothes.
Does that make me angry at Chris? No. He must do what he thinks right.

But I really don't feel the need to give MB any more money than I already have, whether it be by bying clothes and so not reaching my 1 mil goal or buy signing in somewhere to vote for something (I will still buy VIB though).

So the conclusion might be that although I'm still paying to support the site, I've lost some interest in it and I don't feel the need anymore to work for it and do all kind of things - and jump right up and follow if asked.
I used to do that. I used to do a lot of things for MB. Just look at the Pets store and check out the name Narate. It's on clothes I designed. I used to make a magazine with Beckybunny in coorporation with Dollphane. Dollphane asked me what I thought of the new pets. I saw them before they went online and they were in the magazine too. Deathray asked me what I thought of implementing a new feature (the design your own clothes) before anybody knew of it. I won gold. I had a lot of friends and a lot of fun.
And I did a lot more.

But than things changed. MB didn't do anything for about 2 years and a lot of negative things rose from that and I was in the thick of it (I won't go into the nasty details).
So I have the right to turn the tables and let MB work for me. So I know exactly what MB is about. So I enjoy myself with the things I find enjoyable and I refuse to do anything that I don't feel like doing.

So... chatting here about why or why not to vote, I find enjoyable - voting I find not. smile

I don't vote because I'm lazy, but I don't vote since I don't want to work anymore for MB. I did a whole lot of things in the past when others didn't do a thing but still enjoyed the results of my work.

But even if a player doesn't vote because she's too lazy but still buys stuff, what do you care? IF you get your sale, than that is your reward, isn't it? I can't hardly imagine that you don't enjoy the sale just because some lazy people are buying stuff too.

Flox Pilosa, good that you will not be buying. And I understand your decision although I don't agree with it. The sad truth is that most will not vote just because they are too lazy to do it, they feel like their vote will not change so much and why worry about it. Those same people will enjoy the sale. The same people that don't bother to change a thing and only ask for the boyfriend bd in every announcement, the same that would have voted if this promised them a sure 10 000 bd. I didn't expected it, it is so annoying. And most of those people are not even writing in here.

The votes are so little, not more than 200 bimbos vote (we have 4700 votes now for 4 days, 10 votes a day per person). And a part of the voters hate sweetasnuts. If all the rest were really not voting as some kind of protest, then why Occupy Bimboland didn't change a thing? They all just chose to be passive, that's it. I don't think that it would have been very different if all liked sweetasnuts because then we would have been a place or 2 up since those that are doing it for reasons other than "whatever, my vote will not change a thing, if there's a sale good if not whatever" are not a lot.

I was writing while this was posted. So yeah, you are right, I shouldn't really bother, I just can't believe it, I'm not talking about random bimbos but friends on here. For now on, I will not be bothered by those as well (talking about losing my time helping with challenges and duels since they are not bothered to spend 10 sec. a day for something that matters to me).
Not talking only about the sale, it will be nice but I can be without it since I will only buy from the last themes because I bought almost all I really want during the January one. I would have voted just the way I do even without it since I like the new direction.
