Kso, [disclaimer] Dont mind this.. I just need to whine and my friends all think im a crazy stalker when i talk about this so I resorted to doing it here
So, I'm a boy. and I like boys :L and I'm in highschool..
In 10th grade I had this boy in every single one of my classes, and hes popular, and I developped a crush on him, which I can't get over..
I dont know why I like him... I dont even know him, and he doesnt even remember my name.. most people dont even find him that attractive.
Hes popular and most likely straight(Idk, he never had a gf, i dont think? .. but yet again im one of the only out guys in my school..) and if i told him i liked him he would probably laugh in my face..
Im so immature and weird. I dont wanna be a stalker or anything D: but I just can't get over him @_@''

As long as you aren't actually lurking in his garden at night, I think you're fine.
Crushes have a way of working their way out naturally, but there are two sure fire ways of speeding it up
1. Get to know him properly, strike up a conversation, probably about sports, maybe class. He'll fall off his pedestal eventually.
2. Go cold turkey for ages. Just avoid seeing him, and hang round with people who know your name.
And being immature and weird is cool, don't knock it dummy.

I agree with this, either act on it by getting to know him. Or you can try to get over your crush by avoiding him, like Oogie said.

I agree with everyone else. 
Just talk to him... and just like everyone who is trying to get to know their crush, don't be obvious about your feelings at first. Just be friendly without being forwardly obvious... especially if you're unsure about his reaction to your feelings. Even if the guy ends up actually liking guys and liking you, he might have a personal issue with coming out to his peers so he might be a dick even if he does like you. All you can do is take a chance though.

Agreed with what was said above. You just never know unless you try, right? He could be straight, and the biggest douche on the planet, or he could be a genuinely nice guy, and you just never know...maybe it could be your lucky day. If not, then maybe you could at least be friends.

My best friend had the same problem in high school when he came out. But he got over his crush, and found he had a better time meeting other openly gay guys, than hopelessly thinking about a guy he knew nothing about and didnt even know if he was gay.

i can understand your situation!! i have this crazy insane crush on a guy a year senior to me but he is currently dating and he is very popular in our school. i want to get over this stupid crush already because he is very serious about that girl but no matter what i do i just can't get over him
