I just finished the books a week ago, and saw a trailer for the movie for the first book coming out in March.

I'm super excited. I've had some crazy dreams since finishing the series, and can only imagine what they could do with a movie smile

anyone else a fan? read the books? seen the trailer? would watch the film? etc. etc.

I'm a HUGE fan!! I can't wait until the movie comes out, it looks badass!! I think I'm going to start rereading the series once I'm done with my current book.

I am also a fan! I made my friends read the book and they all love it! I can't wait for the movie!!! (I even have plans to attend the premiere in my city!)

I also saw a cookbook with recipes based off of food in the series...i thought that was pretty neat and creative, plus I love to cook...so that might be my next "read"

I doubt they'll have a premiere of the movie where i live, but i guess i'll find out

That's... interesting.... The only reference to nail polish in the series (that I can remember) is talking about Katniss' fiery nails in the first book.
I bet the polish will look great though. I'm excited for it now smile

When I first read the books I had hellish nightmares based around them... I still do occasionally!

The colours look pretty interesting.

Same here!! I've been having the craziest dreams. I always have pretty vivid dreams (some of which i can interact in), but these have been hunger games related. It sort of freaks me out hmm

Does it ever bother anyone that Katnis is known for being the 'girl on fire' but Peeta gets nothing even though he was on fire too?

I saw the trailer again in theaters at the Sherlock Holmes movie and I'm all sorts of excited!

Nope because Peeta didn't do much to help him and Katniss win. She really carried them through the HUnger Games.

I bought the books for my daughter but decided to read them first. I really enjoyed them but decided that almost 12 is too young for them. So she can read them in few years or never.

I love the Hunger Games, I can't wait for the film! If there's a midnight showing I'm so going! I've read all the books, they're amazing. Especially the first, it's my favourite big_smile

not really, from the book it seemed as if her costuming was much more focused on that element, while his (aside from the initial entrance) were not.

And Katnis was always going to have huge focus on her. She volunteered to save her sister, something virtually unheard of in a non-career district.

I just finished reading them a couple weeks ago. I read all three in four days I couldn't put them down!!! I'm so excited for the movie to come out, its going to be torture waiting till March.
