Same thing happened to me here in Mexico City but I was like 13yo, I was sleeping at my cousin's and the next morning she was all: "OMGGG did you feel the earthquake!?? it woke me up!! OMGG"

I didn't feel a thing...

haha I am a pretty sound sleeper too but this morning our power went off, and I didn't wake up for my fan turning off, but I woke up for it turning back on, and I was just like "When did I turn my fan off?" Then I realized that the power must have gone off.

hahaha weird.

they just announced it was 6.8 and lasted 45 seconds. Pony didn't feel it! he was sleeping when the earthquake happened and just woke up an hour later... LOL

the screen thingy that covers the lightbulb fell because of it, and I can't put it back on and the direct light is bothering me, me eyes hurt sad

Beffyweffy, I've only experienced 2 quakes and never felt them at all. I was told they were big so I must be pretty clueless *teehee*

Earthquakes are scary!

For all of you from the US, I'm 20 miles from the epicenter if the VA/DC earthquake that happened in August. (Coincidentally, my younger sister was also away at school was 20 miles from it as well, but in the opposite direction) At first I had no idea what was going on (plus I was a little pre-occupied horizontally, if you know what I mean) and earthquake never even crossed my mind until stuff started falling. We're not supposed to get earthquakes in this area...I felt the aftershocks for weeks. Most of them happened around 1am-ish, so most people didn't feel them, but they always still scared me because I'd always wonder if the earthquake was going to be big like the first
My littlest sister was bummed that she didn't feel it because she was driving with my mom at the time, and they're a few hours away in VA BCH and the tires absorbed it all

The "What the French, Toast?" thread I found was started by Arial in August 2009. I'm unsure if that's the one you meant or not. It was closed when it hit 100 pages. I got it by typing "french toast" in the keyword slot & changing the search in box to topic subject only.

On the topic of blacklisting- because I just randomly blacklisted people, and I try to get 30 challenges in every day, at least a few times a week I end up trying to challenge someone I've blacklisted. My first reaction is always like "Oh, what did this stupid person do to make me blacklist them?" and then I remember that it was a stupid goal

and no Mi, that's not the thread I was talking about, I just found it when I was looking for the other one, It made me smile. Yah the first one was Random thoughts and observations, then it was what the french, toast?, or maybe Pillowfluffers, then it was I just love to garden. I loved those threads!

The one I was looking for was made by Coral or someone else to increase her post rank I believe, I think it had "spam" in the title, but I'm sure it got closed because we all started spamming in that thread, now I think it got deleted or moved, I don't know.

It's dangerous, I did some cleaning up after that goal just to get hit with staked challenges by the former blacklisted people again - so now they are on there again hmm

Those people sending staked and begging pm's are very irritating I also blacklisted a few. I kindly referred them to the staked duels help thread but they still kept asking me for staked every hour...

Not feeling very good at the moment got a cold and headache. Well at least I have a good book to read.
