So this is an update from HQ.

Firstly I want to talk about marketing and publicity stunts. You know that we sometimes partake in them. The thinking behind publicity and PR and advertising is this:

We are a small company with a very limited amount of money.  We dont have enough money to spend on advertising so we must be resourceful. One only way to get free publicity is to try a few cheeky stunts. This is a tried and tested technique and I think as long as it is not damaging to anyone then it cannot be ignored. I know some of you dont agree and say we are wasting time. Thats not true because we only do the stunt if its very easy to complete and very cost effective. They are hit and miss and often dont work so we would be foolish to invest a lot of time and money in  them.  So as long as

a) they dont damage anyone and
b) they add a new feature to the site and
c) its cheap, easy and cost effective to do

then why not if it brings in some new users and spread the bimbo word?

Because its tacky? Hmmm........yes perhaps.  I get this point and sometimes I also think stunts can be tacky. But they are only tacky if thats the ONLY thing we are doing. And they are not. We recognise that its much much much more important to make the site as best as we possibly can.

We recognise we need to be better and have a quality site. Thats the most important thing for sure. And I can assure you we are working on that day by day. We know that if we have a fun quality site then people will talk positive about us. Thats our main goal.

We are doing this and you have hopefully started to notice a few changes over the last recent months. These changes are happening and WILL continue to happen. This site will get better and better. This is not a fad and we will invest our time and money in making  this place as cool as we possibly can. There are going to be lots of updates and news and themes and clothes and contests and entertainment and drama and stunts etc So please get used to it. Change is constant.

The most important realisation for us is the fact that we are so lucky to have such a wonderful community of bimbos right here underneath our very noses. Its been a massive oversight by us not to harness the natural talent, wit and humour of the people that frequent this very site everyday.

Its a great asset and I know that if we make you guys happy and entertained then eventually the site will grow.

And then the lost bimbos will come home.
We are making a conscious effort to look inwards to you in order to harness the value and talent that you can bring.

We are doing our best to involve you as much as possible:

a) We will have player themes. The goal is to have 2 per month from you eventually. Starting THIS WEDS
b) We will have some bimbo content and news written by you guys on the front page
c) We will ask the mods to get involved as much as possible but in a relaxed and non overbearing manner.
d) Our 2 fantastic admin MianaE and Horatia are always helping out and doing their best to create an open fun  liberal place that is unique on the internet. We will strive for their input.
e) We are going to ask a player to re write the levels to make a story and make them more informative/interesting.
f) We will have a design for nines generated items uploaded once per month
g) I am going to ask for some 'bimbo ambassadors' to help me market the site and bring the lost bimbos home. They will be basically marketeers to help spread the bimbo word. We will give some in game and financial rewards for any bimbos who can help and do a great job bringing the lost bimbos home to Miss Bimbo.
h) Also we have our friend Dollphane coming back to do themes on Jan 15th and Feb 28th 2012.
i) Damn it .........we even found ourselves talking about selling/giving some shares in miss bimbo to the players!

g) Finally we have a few surprises for you. Top secret.  Perhaps they will divide opinion hehehehe.....................ROTB
k) We have relaxed all the  boring conservative rules we used to have.

We are very grateful to you for spending your time (and money) on our site. Please dont think we dont appreciate you or listen to you . We do. And we will make a conscious effort to show it.

However also please dont make the mistake of thinking we are going to simply roll over and be tickled by all of you noisy bimbos.

We know we must try new things and divide opinion sometimes. Thats the very nature of this site isnt it? Some people love it and some hate it. And so it will be with some  things we do. Sometimes we will annoy you and anger you and disappoint you. To some bimbos what we do will be foolish, annoying and a let down. To others what we do will be the type of puerile tomfooolery you would expect from a site called MissBimbo.com !
You must remember at first there was no customers! no one! If we had asked an average person 'shall we make a site called miss bimbo?' they would likely have said ' no thats a ridiculous idea'. There was no customer at all. zero. We are a start up. We took a chance and so we must keep on taking chances and pushing boundaries/doing different things. Even if you don't agree with it. So when you say 'you must listen to the customer' please remember - there was NO customer at first!

So please don't make the mistake of thinking that because we may surprise and shock you (offend you even) it means we don't care about you or your opinion. This site is an entertainment site. Its our duty to try and entertain. Even if we fail sometimes we must still try. Its better to try and fail than do nothing at all. So even though you may shout 'fail' etc that is not going to stop us from trying to entertain you in one way or the other.
We listen but we still must make the choice to try new things. 

That brings us on to the subject of freedom of speech etc
Sadly in the past we have not got this right. We have banned some players unnecessarily (even though we felt it was right at the time. I felt it was right that the time). That was then though and now I think in most cases its wrong to ban players from the site and so we will make a conscious effort to be more liberal and care free. Its important that you can openly challenge the admin without any fear of retribution or offence being taken.  Most of the time its all in good jest! This site should be in jest and in good spirit. Banning players by us is a bad example to set and it is regrettable that we got  that wrong in the past. We promise to learn from that and are sorry to anyone who was banned for what in the most part was puerile banter. The mods have lifted most of the bans that existed and only serious cases of advertising, harassment etc remain banned. So please go ahead and take the piss out of me and the admin. Its all part of the fun and of what Miss Bimbo should be about isnt it? This is no longer a place for sensitive souls who are quick to take offence.
