Empty Room button in My Home

I just decided to totally redecorate my home. But to do that I had to individually clear every item from every room. It took my a long time and it got me wondering... What about an "Empty Room" button in My Home that will remove all items from the room you're working on?

Especially now that there are more items of furniture than ever, it'd be increasingly useful for those who like to decorate their homes.

Any suggestions to further this concept and general opinions are welcomed and encouraged.

This idea has been suggested before, but the post was out of date and dead, hence the new one.

Re: Empty Room button in My Home

I totally agree, it will be really helpful, it is annoying to stay and remove each item..

This is actually a really good idea. For one goal, I wrecked my room. Would've been a whole lot easier if I could just sweep it clean.

Ok, I just posted the same idea cos It's super annoying to delete things individually, but i second this idea! It's such a simple thing and it wouldn't be too hard (I imagine) to do! xx

Re: Empty Room button in My Home

That is a great suggestion! It should be easy enough.. especially since we have the "naked" option in dress-up already. I can't forsee it being an impossible endeavor.

Such a great idea. I actually want to re-do my enter house but, I got discouraged when I had to removed each furniture individually, it's crazy.

Re: Empty Room button in My Home

Along with the "Empty Room" button I think it would help to decorate if all our furniture grouped together.  If I buy multiple of the same item at different times it would be nice if I didn't have to go through all my items in that group just to find the matching item.  The clothes are sorted in the closet according to the date they were put into Nine's so shouldn't the furniture stuff do that..?

Hope that makes sense, and sorry if it's not completely on topic.  I didn't feel the need to start a new thread for it.

Re: Empty Room button in My Home

Agreed, a "clear room" option would be nice. You could always buy a new house to clear out every room! big_smile  The last time I bought a larger house, it cleared out EVERYTHING.

On that note, is there a way to SAVE our room arrangements (which took me quite a long time, as I've been trying to make my home look very nice) from one home to the next?

Also, I agree that I wish our purchased furniture were organized in a better manner-- If I buy multiple items (say, carpets), I will sometimes accidentally try to add one that is already being used in another room by accident, so I need to go back and find where I took it from.  Maybe have the "in use" items grayed out?

Re: Empty Room button in My Home

I think that's a good idea Tevunoth. Now there isn't even a scroll bar for me so it's even more difficult to decorate.
