Some advices - just like Bana said, keep practising. I don't know what graphic programme you are using, but you can add shadows and highlights by using pen tool, or you can draw shadow on different layer using darker colours and than changing the opacity to a level that it will look good.
Another thing is to avoid patterns that are in small resolution, but you can change pattern size in photoshop by choosing blending and then pattern overlay. there are opacity and size options for pattern overlay.
You also need some outlines there.

what i think for fashion is something you create, and put your mind and soul into is a piece of art. Although, if I can steer another direction just a bit....I was actually thinking today about old paintings done by Da Vinci or Picasso or things created in those times. And the women, if you notice, are "bigger". They're soft and beautiful, yet strong and serene. And I think it's a shame how we can look at things like that and call it amazing, yet have such a change perception today. It's kinda sad and frustrating.
Anyway...yes, fashion is art.
