A lot of my friends do it or had tried it and some do it perfectly and others say they couldn't blow dry to save their lives. So how is it for you are you an expert or totally clueless?
P.S: I want to try to blow dry my hair ,but I'm lost in the ''sea'' of brushes .
I don't know what to choose
My hair is fine , so I want something to get volume .I don't want it completely straight , but rather I'd like it a little wavy. I wanted to get a ceramic brush , but I read that they get so hot that you may burn yourself ...and now I'm scared
.
Maybe you girls know a little more about what should I choose ?

I just let mine dry naturally and rarely style it. I'd rather not heat damage my hair.
And most styles can be achieved even when letting hair dry naturally, unless you're going for that chav-not-chic look O.O

I've never straightened my hair, so I wouldn't begin to know how. And I never use heated products. If I blow dry I use the cool air setting.

I blow dry mine to straighten it. Of course it's not as straight as if I used straighteners but it helps tame the wildness especially my fringe. I have very fine moderately wavy hair which is prone to kink especially at the front.
Ideally you are supposed to use a round brush but I don't have one so I use my ordinary brush which is the oval type with bristles close together. If you use a round brush I think you can make the ends curl/wave which is something I can't do.
Use conditioner and a heat protection mousse or spray first.

I rarely ever blow dry my hair. When I do straighten, I use an iron and some heavy duty heat protection serum.

I'm as lost as you are when it comes to blowdryers, dear... But YouTube has a bunch of tutorial-style videos you can use to achieve pretty much any hairstyle you want.
I learned how to curl my hair with a flat iron from Youtube.

You should use a blow-out mousse and a hair dryer extension, then slowly blow dry and brush hair with a round brush. Start with the highest heat setting and then go lower, as this minimizes the damage done to hair. And maybe if it's still not straight enough, when it's dry spray it with thermal protection spray and flat iron it, preferably with a ceramic iron. When you're done, brush with a wide paddle brush (Google it if you don't know what that is) and blast with the cool setting to lock in the straight-ness.
I have naturally straight hair, but I learned the blow-out on my friend with very curly hair. The key to getting it uniform throughout is to evenly distribute the blowout mousse.
If you need help with choosing the brush, go with a dense boar-bristle round brush. Don't worry, it doesn't get hot.
Hope I helped.

Well, if I leave my hair go by itself, it goes super curly and wavy. But as soon as I get the blow dryer out, even without brushing it, it goes almost perfectly straight. I'm kind of lucky that way. I don't have to do much to my hair, just leave it go or blow dry.
