Like In-wonderland, I prefer bohemian/indie style.
In general, simple but cute clothes, matched with particular accesorises (metal accessorises only, though: silver, gold, copper or iron). And I can't stand necklaces and earrings together... actually, I don't know why.
I hate fur, even if it's synthetic. I find it simply... ugly.
I'm used to wear neutral colors: grey, brown, blue. Except for nail polish and shoes. Yesterday, I bought eleven different polishes. My mother is going to hate me, yeah. The same happens with the shoes: last time I went in London with some friends, I came back to Italy with a luggage just for the shoes - I bought a pair of every color and, of course, finished my money after two days. Well, when she saw that, she just screamed.
Okay. Sorry for have written a poem.

Indie is not a style kids. -_-"
Indie stands for independent ,which while applauded to clothes means you have your own original style which doesn't say anything about what clothes you are wearing other meaning would be clothes designed by independent designers. Which still doesn't say anything about the clothes you are actually wearing.

You're absolutely right. Nowadays, though, the word is used to define a specific style. Even bohemienne doesn't refer to 'clothes'.

A bohemian style actually does exist in the fashion world and reflects something specific dates and points back to certain periods where it was internationally embraced by designer.
You can't say that about the word "indie". What people describe as indie can be described by many things applying to what a certain individual sees as such.
I get annoyed by silly ,meaningless things as a fashion student. I don't have anything against you personally as I saw it many times before.
When someone says they dress or listen to indie it just means they fallow latest youth trends. That's what it is. There is nothing independent about it.

Nevermind, I'm not offended or anything.
Bohemian, anyway, has the same origin. It was a non-traditional lifestyle. It is born as a literary and artistic movement. Then, it became a 'way of dressing'. Well, I'm a literature student, so that's the only thing I can say for sure.
I used it 'cause the majority of the people link the word bohemian with that fashion style.
I can't say the same for the word indie, 'cause I admitt that I am not prepared about that. I red you're a fashion student, so I'll just end it here. Guess I'm going to look for another word, for the next time! And, of course, I won't say anything about me listening to indie-rock

Don't write that your style is "indie". Say that you're a hipster. ;>
