After lots of comments from players and a discussion with ThePavs and other mods, we've come up with some new magazine rules. Read this carefully as those who break these rules will have their threads closed and, if a repeat offender, receive a warning.
1) You must have 100 posts to open a new magazine. No Exceptions. This will not apply to already-existing magazines. Anyone caught spamming to gain posts for a magazine will be warned and banned from ever opening one.
2) No more 'Worker' threads. If you wish to communicate with workers either do so via PM or, as I'd advise, open a free forum using the link below where you and your workers can compile your article/images etc. in private.
http://www.freeforums.org/
3) Your magazine must be coherent, proof-read and fully credit anything made by other players. As such, I will expect you to send me a copy of the magazine before you post it in this section for approval. I hope this will encourage you to work hard and make something other players will want to read. If you do not get a generally positive response for your magazine from other players (aka the general public) you won't be allowed to make a second issue.

I've been seeing a lot of plagiarism in previous and working magazines so I'm hoping this might help in the stop of that.
The "generally positive response" worries me though.....

Well, my magazine is in romanian and I'm sure you won't understand almost anything from the magazine. So my questions are:
Still I have to send you a copy from the magazine?
or
I have to leave my magazine or change it in english?

Basically, this means looking at the comments you receive when you post your issue and seeing what the players think. If I see that overall players like what they read, you're fine to carry on

Mainly this is to prevent images and the likes being stolen, so it doesn't need to be translated. There is always the one mod (Landi) who does speak Romanian though, so I may ask her to scan it
As long as you proof-read and use proper grammar, I'm not really fussed.

Cool... I have to agree that workers threads are kinda annoying 'cause whenever I clicked on a link and thought I was going to read something it's just a post hiring people ;[
...which is why I decided to made mine alone xD

If any magazine's would like a free sub-forum area on BimboBin forums, they may have one if they request it: HERE
It will be a whole forum space to make your own new threads just for your magazine, hire new people, create polls, etc. There will also be separate area where all the magazine issues can be posted. If you choose to do this, I would still require you to get Horatia's approval before you submit your issue.

I have a question.
Im going to start a mag but need workers can I post a thread to get people to sign up or ???

Why don't you do a mock up, Saphire? Show you can do everything yourself in case something goes wrong. Makes you look better, more professional, and people will be more likely to want to be a part of it. A lot of people who start a magazine only do it so they can literally do nothing and take credit for everyone else's work.

That's a good idea Corazie - and I've made a workers thread in this section. This is the only magazine thread allowed (besides the actual issues) and it's where any magazine can post if they're hiring.

I fail to see how you plan to enforce such rules ,given that most magazines if they are worth reading at all are published and housed on private forums.thus the creative rights to those publications belong to the forum owners and staff that actually put the magazine together.
