Degrassi: The Next Generation

It is the only teen show I watch, and I can't get enough! I only started watching last summer because of the marathon before the Hollywood movie, but it was love at first sight. I'm in love with ALL the characters, well exept Craig and Ashley, who I can't stand and are the only ones I'm glad are gone.

Sooo any fans? Any opinions on old vs. new cast?
Anyone else go on the teennick website to see the movie before it aired?

Usually I hate teen shows but I started watching it last summer too and I became Addicted.
I think the old episodes are WAY better tho.

Out of the old characters my favorite was Ellie. Out Of the new I like Declan, Fiona, Holly J. and Spinner. I use to like Jane but now shes too perky compared to past seasons.

I can't wait for all the new episodes coming this month.

Yeah, I miss a bunch of the old charaters.
And I stoped liking jane when she cheated on Spinner because I love him that much:)

I find Degrassi *now* stupid. Old Degrassi was amazing, but comparing old episodes to new ones is the funniest thing ever. *spoiler* I recently re-watched the Vampire episode when Clare was having weird Vampire fantasies about Declan... I was seriously laughing out loud during the entire thing lol

to be honest, i can't stand Degrassi. i keep wishing it will finally end but i guess not. that show has been going on forever. oh well...

i miss the old cast! the show was soooo much better with the old ppl! And had way more drama..its a shame how the new ppl ruined the show! Sorry but ive watched Degrassi since the first season so of course i love the ORIGINAL old cast.

So I re-watched the movie and I have to say I loved it. Though it's sad it was like a farewell to the old cast, I'm glad they all are happy. And I have to say I have always thought Emma and and Spinner would make a good couple. content3

I'm happy Spinner and Emma got married. They make a great couple.
And it wasn't as cliche as it would of been if Spinner and Jane got married.

I wonder what will happen to Fiona tho!?

i like the old cast better. when they grew up anyway. when it started they were very young. and i think Emma's mom was even in the orginal degrassi show

Yeah, she was in the orignal show. She was awsome and had this crazy hair (which is why her nickname is Spike).

yea the old cast was good.. omg i almost started 2 cry in degrassi:the boiling point when Fitz "stabbed eli, i was like "NOOOO ELI'S DEAD!" bt then i saw he didnt get stabbed and was alive ^_^

I love Degrassi! smile I started watching it in the early TNG seasons... either 3 or 4 and those are still my favorite cast-wise & plot-wise. I love everything Degrassi so even though the cast is different and the show is not as good as it used to be (it's still really good, don't get me wrong XD ), I'll still continue to watch it for probably as long as it continues because I guess it's an addiction by now smile
I've even seen the original degrassi episodes online (from the 80s) & those are actually really good XD

i like the new one, hey umm did anyone see the new promo of the fall, when eli is looking threw papers and clare tells him 2 calm down and he yells "I CANT BELIVE THIS!!" does anyone know y he sed that. and also in the ending when clare yells stop.. ugh i cnt wait til october 8th!!
