Well if you consider that most of her looks considered "nasty" was the STYLE back then...it's not really just her that looked trashy. It was everyone. The 90's was a terrible era for fashion.

That said, she has pulled off some pretty risky looks, but she seems a lot more pulled together and polished now than back then.
