On the occasion of Christmas I wish to all Christians nice, peaceful, healthy and the cheerful Christmas and God's blessing in the coming year.

And to all other I wish peace, love, joy and health.

Christmas passed my rather ordinary. Rather like that.
  I plan to go to church on New Year's Eve, but I do not know yet what from this will be.

I have sooo many favourite verses but mainly

Psalms 139 I cant recite the whole thing but you can look it up yourself. And also

Psalms 34:18 The Lord is close to the broken hearted, and save those who are crushed in spirit

Also my favourite books in the bible is Judges (The story of Gideon)
Hoseah aaand of course David and Goliath and Noahs Ark

I know it's strange but I don't read the Bible.
The stranger thing is that I'm stuck between 2 versions of Christianity: I'm calvinist, but I pray as a Catholic and go to the Catholic church....

Hi everyone! I'm Rose. It's nice to meet you!

I was raised in church and didn't really like going until recently. I think when I was younger I was worried about my lack of friends more than God. I guess I didn't really understand the lessons very well either. It seems that all that changed when my mom passed away. I took a break from church for a while and started going back when my grandparents invited me to their sunday school class.

Oh and I thought everyone would like this:

The Atheist: But there is nobody who has ever returned from it! Life simply ends with birth. And frankly, life is just one big suffering in the dark.

The Believer: No, no! I don’t know how life after birth will be exactly, but in any case, we will meet our mother and she will take care of us!

The Atheist: Mother? You think we have a mother? So, where is she then?

The Believer: She is everywhere around us, and we are in her! We move because of her and thanks to her, we move and live! Without her, we wouldn’t exist.

The Atheist: Baloney! I haven’t seen any such mother; hence, there is none.

The Believer: I can’t agree with you. In fact, sometimes, when everything calms down, we can hear her sing and feel how she caresses our world. I strongly believe that our real life will begin only after birth."

I'm a proud Christian as well. I was raised Seventh Day Adventist and still believe most of what I was taught. I would attend church on Saturdays regularly if work did not get in the way so much. But there are a few websites I go on that broadcast sermons and studies. I like that very much. I will sit and listen to it for hours sometimes.

Well... I'm a Protestant Christian... But I am the spiritual but not religious type of Christians where I believe somewhere along the lines of scientific discovery it can bring us closer to the Word of God...
