We have as much right to a thread to express ourselves and chat as will be a VIB Group thread that will sooner or later be started by someone. ets stick together on this group thread, even though in other threads we may very well have varying opinions.

I was just trying to help point out a few things to you guys...You're more than welcome to have any kind of opinions, first off.  I'm not hating on anyone for not liking it.  I just want to state the reasons that I chose to subscribe to VIB.

Real money for Virtual Site:  I play on this site a lot.  I bought the year's VIB pass...it comes out to about $36 - so $3 per 12 months.  $3 a month is just one less small iced coffee at Starbucks per month.  $3 can barely even buy me fast food (which I honestly shouldn't be eating anyway).  $3 for less ad-space taking up my monitor on a game I play a lot, more games, and more fun options is cool to me.  With the money that -I- make, it was justifiable to me.  I can see where it may not be to some, but for others...it IS.

Helps keep the game free for others:  If more people chose to spend money on the site (real money), that means that the costs for keeping the site running are being offset.  So the admin'll be able to justify doing more stuff to keep the free part of the site running.  Updates will (ideally) be able to get back on time again, more clothes and working on site bugs.  Unfortunately, money makes the world go around.  These people do not make this site out of the kindness of their hearts, unfortunately.  They are a business.  They have to pay developers and artists and tech people to keep things running.  So more money from -somewhere- means they can do more free stuff to keep users happy...to generate more users and thus continuing to be a profitable business.  For BOTH those that decide to pay and those who choose not to.

VIB Only Stuff:  I'm on the fence about this...I like keeping things fair, but if some people are paying real money to use the site, I think that offering some things to them specifically is ultimately... fair.  It's like people who make a donation to a charity or fund raiser.  They get exclusive stuff because they gave their own money to help offset costs of keeping things going.  Let's face it...if someone gives you money, you really should be grateful, if at least a little bit.  So having the VIB Only stuff gives people an incentive to give real money.  People are only going to give so much money so they can get Bimbo Dollars.  By offering other options...it attracts more people to give money.

Like I said, you are totally in your opinion not to like it, it's cool.  I just wanted people to see where some of us are coming from when we do decide to make the decision to give money to this site.

I can definitely see where you are coming from, as I mentioned, I -was- on the fence about that one thing in particular.  I can see how maybe more BA could be a reward, but I can also see people thinking how that could be unfair to other players, too.

I don't think that ALL the good stuff will be VIB only...I can't see them alienating all the non-paying players that extremely.  They want to entice people to eventually purchase subscription from the site and only giving good things to the paying players won't entice as many people to buy as they want to get.  It's just not good customer service.

Maybe if they offered different colors of the same clothing for VIB users?  Release an item in like...three colors for free players, and offer a wider variety of patterns and colors for the VIBs?  Same with furniture.  Like if we got new kitchen counter-tops...maybe the VIBs could have the same counter-tops, but with marble finishes instead of just solid colors...

I guess the only thing that I can equate this in real life is...well, paying tons of money for designer clothes and furniture in real life.  Not everyone can afford or wants a Mercedes Benz, or Alexander McQueen clothes, or caviar from endangered species of fish from Antarctica... But people sell these things.  And there are people who pay money for them.  Lots and lots of money.  Sometimes ridiculous amounts.  There are people who want these things...and can't pay for them and will sometimes never get them.  No, it's not fair, but it's not going to stop the people who sell and the people who buy that CAN afford them.  VIB is like...designer Miss Bimbo, I guess.  It's a luxury.

I DO think it would be cool that if maybe if non-paying bimbos got to a certain high enough level that it would eventually unlock some of the VIB stuff.  Like the clothes and furniture.  It would be incentive for people to keep playing.  But still allow the VIBs to get access right away if they wanted it enough to pay for it.
