Socks with Sandals/Heels

How do you feel about the new summer trend?

Personally, I'm willing to try it. I recently bought a pair of peep toe wedges along with knee high socks to give an attempt to the trend.

I know socks with anything but sneakers has been a fashion don't for as long as I can remember.

But it's good to be daring, right?

What's your opinion?

It can look ok sometimes, but the whole outfit has to be good and work together or else you'll look like you just have no idea of how to dress properly.

I tried my wedges and socks. And although I couldn't get a grip I thought it to be fairly cute...Now to find the perfect outfit.

When I herd of high heels with sandals I thought that that was horrible, but know looking at this pictures it looks pretty good.

you have to know how to make it fit into your whole outfit but absolutely positively no to shoes like flip flops because then you would just look tacky

Agreed. I know it's one of my personal rules. And, others said it, but why would you need socks with sandals in summer anyway?
But if it were to be tried, the sandals I think should have thicker straps.

I would wear flip flops or gladiators with socks, no, obviously....but a nice peep-toe wedge would look cute with a pair of frilly socks I think.

I just like this idea because my feet sunburn so easily and then they hurt.

I don't think socks with gladiators or flip flops are even...
I can't even think of the word for the atrocity that would be.

Socks are a great accessory to me, provided they are with the right shoes.
The outfit and the person need to have an open mind, or else it might become overkill
