Ever finished an edit and asked yourself "Hmm is there something missing?!" Or maybe there's something you want to master, like shading/highlighting etc. Well now you can post your edit here for your fellow bimbos to critique. This will also be great for beginner editors to learn where they can improve. I will be informing all of the popular editors of the site to come here and help as well, who better to offer tips, right?!

Thank you and thanks again for your help!

It's lovely! Maybe try outlining the dress (with a thin line in a darker color) to make it stand out more

I just think there is something missing but i can't figure out what it is.

I love the details in this dress, maybe a little more shading or a light pattern?

This little gem took me 5 hours to do and is based on one of BanaBabe's dolls. I feel its my best edit but is there anything i could improve on?

Sativian.. lovely I can see how you have improved between the first and second.. I agree with MM the outline around will make it stand out a bit more.. and also I would suggest blending the lines on the dress a bit more so they are not so hard especially on the red skirt part.. the top looks great!!
MiseryNightshade.. it looks so soft and elegant.. I love it.. what I think might be missing is a little texture to the fabric.. like a monocramatic pattern.. ^_^

Neriah, it's gorgeous! Maybe a little darker shading, like under the breasts, but other than that, great work

Neriah.. I love the detail it is obvious you spent a great deal on it.. If I were to do it I am not to sure about the thing on the top of the bodice.. it just doesn't look like it belongs.. and I would maybe make the shading on the top part of the skirt a little darker with the shading under it between the two skirt... But I think it is wonderful hon!! Well done!

its pretty basic... any tips??

Very nice hon.. love the detail.. I would clean up the edges a bit and for me.. I would change the color of the belt to white or black.. the red pops but the hues don't seem to go together.. But I love the detail you gave it..

Neriah wow thats really pretty, i just love love the bottom part of the skirt ♥
if i would change something it be i put a darker outline on the middle part of the skirt, and underneath the bottom flowers i shade a little more and emphasize the folds even more

Here I am also to try and help.
@Sativian - Wow, we can really see how your editing has improved. I just love that second dress... You just need to be more bolder with the shadows.
I started to explain but got confused how to express myself so I took your drawing and added a little bit more shadows to demonstrate. Hope you don't mind...
ORIGINAL
WITH SHADOWS ADDED BY ME
As your see I didn't change anything big, just some details.
1) Added shadows on the sides of the dress. Because light falls from the left, shadow on right side of the dress should be wider.
2) Added shadows to creases on the dress (I hope that's the right term). Generally when you draw the fabric fold you need to add the light to the highest point and to the other side you need to add a little bit of shadow... That makes them look more realistic. I did that for red and white part of the dress and you see how now they look more defined. Especially the white part now doesn't look so blank.
3) Also I blurred white highlights a little. So they would blend with dress a little bit more...
Ok so although all this sound like a big critique, it is not.
Your edit is beautiful and you did great work. It took me a couple of minutes to do these changes... Maybe there sould be even more shadows on the dress. I am also not so good with them. ^_^
WOW I really over-did it with criticizing. LOL
I will try to comment on next edit a little bit later.

MiseryNightShade- Wow! It is lovely. But as you say you feel something is missing, I think you'd find it improve if you added a little more shadows and shading?

Rebela5- Very nice, I love your use of color. Maybe try outlining the clothes (with a thin line in a darker color) to make it stand out more and not blend so much into the bimbo.

I just wanted to ask is this how English knight should look like...
This is for Corazie's contest and I'm not sure is this ok. Is someone here interested in knights and can help?
I know it's maybe not the best place to ask about this, but I would really appreciate your help
