Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

Also I received the new Baby Sitters club books in today.  The first three, and a new Prequel.  Ranryn looked them over and nothing out of place from her skimming.  They still have Claudia's awesome style in it.

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

A prequel??  I'm going to check this out tomorrow.  Are they in the independent reader section?  Or where?

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

They are in favorite series.  The prequel is called "the Summer Before" I think.

They covers are pretty nice.  I was so excited when I saw them.  I figure this is the perfect time cause a lot of the people that read them now have kids that are about 6+, so they will be like "I READ THOSE! YOU WILL TOOOOOOO!"

Dude, I'm exhausted.  I stayed up all night watching a Designing Women marathon.  Yeah. At first I hated it.  And then I liked it.  And then I got horny and then I fell asleep.

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

Needed a dose of Frank?

I had my final checkup on my teeth today. big_smile  I can use straws again.  I was going through withdraws.  Everything is normal.  The Doctor told me that I was a very tough lady cause I never complained and my teeth were pretty big.  I never even thought of complaining, I mean what would be the good of that.  It just makes me wonder what he has to put up with from the other patients.

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

Yeah, it seems kind of pointless to time travel to the 80s, most TV shows/movies/music/clothes/other material items are so readily available, what's the point?

That's true. I used to love that movie, what was it...V.I. Warshawski. And of course, Undercover Blues.

Funny video of Natalie Imbruglia's song Torn being mimed.  Natalie Imbruglia starts miming toward the end of the video.

Don't worry, I will. wink

You know I never knew the line was "lying cold and shamed on the floor." I always thought it was "lying cold and chained on the floor."

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

I went to half price books today.  I was looking at the first copies section and they had a signed Charlaine Harris book for 45 dollars.  I didn't buy it though.  I would rather stalk her and get her to sign a book. bave2

It was weird though.  I was looking at all the special first edition books, and they just have a bunch of first edition new books too.  I have some of them, and it was just weird to think of those as special.  I also have some books that are signed that I totally forget about, like my Eoin Colfer book.  Although with those books I would never think of donating them.

They also had all 5 of the Spiderwick Chronicle books at $50 for first edition, first printing.  I am pretty sure mine are those too cause I got them first thing, and I would never even think to charge that if I got rid of them.

The only first edition I think I have is of a Dave Barry book.

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

Awesome!  I love Dave Barry's book and have almost all of them.  None are first editions or signed.

List of autographs I have gotten:
books:
Brian Jacques - Castaways of the Flying Dutchman
Jan Brett - the Mitten, the Owl and the Pussycat, Hedgie Blasts off, the Gingerbread Baby
CD's:
Tommy Lee Harroun - Quiet Place (listen to him at: http://www.reverbnation.com/the3ofmetommyleeharroun)
baseball players:
Mark Brincks - White Sox
Jarod Juelsgaard - Florida Marlins (they were both minor league)

I wish I had more, but I am always on the lookout for more.

Funny video:

Re: Working On Our Night Cheese

Its pretty easy to get Jan Bretts autograph when she comes to your store. tongue

I have Eoin Colfer, Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear, Louise Erdich and some local authors.

I have some signatures from Twins players.  My mom used to have Donny Osmonds signature but someone stole the CD.  It said "Being 48 rocks."  As that was what my mom wanted him to put as the message.
