okay, so i am an editor and i would like to put more patterns to the clothes i make and everything, but i use sumo.paint and i don't know how to use patterns and everything on that. it might now even let me use that tool, so if you know any good editing sites that you don't have to download besides paint would help to!!
so 2 questions.....
1) how do you put patterns in your clothing, using sumo.paint editing?
2) Is there any good editing programs that are free and i don't have to download besides paint?
I would if you could help me out cause i want my edits to be the best they can be:)

I agree with Blksnobunnie, and there are many editors who use Gimp, including myself, so I think you'd have more answers on your questions if you download this program

There is a thread in this section of the forum (Sometimes either first or second). It should really help. You can ask questions etc.

I used gimp as well, but MM2007 uses another free pragram paint.net, and as you can see, her edits are great. Gimp has a lot of patterns on deviant art. I love it, even though I'm still not that good!

not all of us can download things
she asked for help on sumo, not for the other things.
I'd help you
but I'm terrible at editing

1) i don;t use Sumo but here's a little tip: If you use the polygonal tool to draw you dress, while its still selected, grab absolutely any image (Search for silk texures/leather textures etc on google) and paste it. Invert the selection and erase. The texture should now be on the dress selection
2) Gimp! There's a lot of bimbo's who use it who can give you tips and i have my own tutorial page for doing gimp stuff

Well, you asked for something you don't have to download...I don't think there's anything without SUMO.But as others said,GIMP is the best choice(without Photoshop, but you have to pay for it)

I agree with blksnobunnie ... with me i didnt think brushes would be that good ... but i downloaded some, and now if i cant think of anything, i just add a few swirl brushes on and it looks good. Definately get GIMP or paint.net
