MAC Pigment

I'm about to buy another handful of pigment samples. I was just wondering whether there were any other MAC lovers on the forum and if anyone can recommend some good colours to me. I have blue eyes and quite pale skin and reddish brown hair. I mostly use burgundy and orange shades, though I love the vivid greens, purples and blues MAC has produced. Anything too gold like Golden Lemon, Cocomotion or Old Gold just doesn't look right on me.

My all-time favourite Mac pigment colours are:
Melon
Heritage Rouge
Electric Coral
Entremauve

And my favourite highlight or eyeliner colours:
Your Ladyship
Vanilla
Black Black
Subtle

The colours I am thinking of buying so far are:
MAC Pro Full Force Violet
Royal Flush or Revved Up
Rose

I really want an interesting variety of colours this time, as I've got plenty of neutral shades to use with them. So any outstanding colours for either dramatic or everyday looks you could recommend would be great.

Re: MAC Pigment

I absolutely ADORE MAC!
My all time favorite pigments are melon, coco motion, vanilla, naked and violet. Chartreuse and True chartreue are gorgeous lime colors which I think you'd be interested, but are now Pro colors I think. Deep Blue Green (if you can get your hands on it) is a great color, as it kind of alters in color when used wet or dry. The contrast of teal and rose pigment go really nicely together as well.
But for a really nice pop of color, I think fuschia would be good? If you are living in the US, you could check out a CCO, as they have great deals on discontinued pigments.
PS. I hate that they have changed the packaging of them. *sadface*

I love deep blue green! It's so versatile - it can look really teal-coloured if wet or quite purple with just a few green-blue shimmers if dry. I will definitely think about the Chartreuse colours, though I'm a little scared of that much bright green pigmentation. I've tried fuchsia but it's just a bit too cool toned for me, I prefer more apricot or coral toned colours.

Re: MAC Pigment

I think you could pull off an earthy green tone with the features u described but keep the rest of your face very very simple.

Sorry I love MAC but I have a kid and the stuff is a bit costly, Brandons been buying me a few items here and there for presents cuz he knows I love them but I havn't gotten any pigments, thats the next thing on his list, LOL!
