In Disney and Tim Burton's new Alice in Wonderland movie, Alice never seems to keep the same dress on for more than 5 minutes. She changes wardrobe every time she changes size.
Because the movie is still in theatres I am having difficulty finding images of all of her dresses, so if you've not seen the movie, you may have a bit of trouble judging the wardrobe. Here are some images of her various outfits I have found online. She also has a cute dress the hatter makes her at the tea party. A dress the red queen makes her from curtains & a dress the white queen lends her when she stays at her castle (Not to mention her suit of armor). I could not find those images, however...
Beginning of the movie dress:

Then after her first shrinking session she wore this.
At the end of the movie, she wore this.

I realize these aren't the best photos, but I am having a hard time finding better ones, darlings.
Out of the images here or if you have seen the movie, out of all of the outfits she wore through out... Which did you like best? And which did you like least?
Personally I found the outfit made while she was at the Red Queen's castle to be my favourite. The stripes and red bits were very cute. I also rather enjoyed the frilly dress the hatter made. *Giggle* I really wish I had images of those two. *Pout*
Least of all I liked the armor, but it served it's purpose... Other than that I likely had least interest in her second outfit (The one worn after her first shrinking session).

I had the same thoughts as you PA! My favourite by far was the dress Alice had when she was with the Red Queen, with the Hatter's dress coming a close second. I would definitely wear both of those myself if I got the chance!
I think the dress she wore after her first shrink was the worst one of the whole movie, it just seemed too shapeless and baggy in the wrong places.
In general I was quite impressed with the overall look of the movie, many of the outfits were beautiful in their own strange way.

I agree. I loved the design of all of the costumes in the movie. It gave the movie a very unique feel. And I too would wear both of those dresses. *Giggle*

I like the dress she wears in the beginning.

I managed to find a bit of the armor...
I can not understand why images from some of these scenes are so difficult to come across...

Alright I made screen captures from bits in the previews that showed the outfits. Clearly I was frustrated. *Giggle*
These are what I was able to get for the hatter made dress.

And here is the dress made at the Red Queen's castle...

I wasn't able to find any decent scenes in the previews of the dress loaned from the White Queen... Alice was always hunched over and slightly hidden in the commercials, when wearing that outfit... Shame, really... Nonetheless, at least I have photos of these two. *Nod*

I leaned over to my friend during the movie and said "I want one!" when the Red Queen's dress first came on the screen... my friend giggled and replied "I knew you were going to say that."
My vote is for the Red Queen one as well!

I must say that I also loved the dress what she was wearing at the Red Queens place! And very close is the one that Hatter made for her.

ChanelChase please don't spam on the thread. There is already a main thread for party invitations.
The Red Queen's dress is the best...I'd really want to have it on MB

I wonder if anyone has put forward the idea of an Alice in Wonderland theme for MB.

If not they certainly should. GO ALICE IN WONDERLAND THEME!
The after-first-shrinking (is that her underclothing?) dress is horrid. It looked nearly obscene the way it hung off her. The one the white queen gave her was plain and boring, so a theme could skip those two.
I think the Hatter's dress is my favorite.

For up-close images of almost all of the costumes in high res, click here:

I think the pics were all taken at Comic Con this year. They had a whole area with the costumes on display that you could walk thru and see them from almost all angles.
I have been obsessing over the costumes since the first spoiler shots during filming hit the web. The curtain dress is definitely my favorite so far and I was thinking of making it for Halloween.

after seeing the movie i have to say i like how the dresses change accordingly to alice`s height, very original idea.
my vote goes to the dress she wore at the red queen`s castle, but the gown version, when she is brought up to her original size.
nice wardrobe, effects and a very good movie overall.
