I do like Tim Burton's work, but I'm honestly not a fan of Johnny Depp anymore, so I have mixed feelings about him being cast as my favorite character.
I'll probably still see it anyways....just so I can give an honest review.

I'm going to watch it on saturday in 3D.

Why does everyone keep saying "Dept"... He isn't a department nor a deputy... It's "Depp". *Nod*
Naturally I saw the film. And though it wasn't as fantastic as I had thought it would be, it was a very good watch. *Nod* I greatly enjoyed the March Hare and the Cheshire cat... As I suspected I was not terribly fond of the interpretation of the Mad Hatter. I was pleased with the way they merged the Red queen and the Queen of Hearts. I was afraid it would be a disaster, but it ended up rather interesting.
I adored the costumes and the music was lovely. (I own both the Elfman score & the Almost Alice soundtrack).
I would give it 3.5 of 5 stars. *Nod* Brilliant, but not overly so.

In addition I thought I would add that if anyone has 'not' watched it and is planning a trip to the cinema... I would suggest the regular version, as apposed to the 3D IMAX version. There is not nearly enough 3D bells and whistles to make it worth watching in 3D. I watched it in 3D and believe I would have enjoyed it all the same at half the price for a regular 2D showing. *Nod* In fact many critics say they much preferred the 2D version over the 3D one.

I saw it for the 2nd time tonight. I was so annoyed as the woman who was sat in front of me got a call on her mobile which she actually answered! She then proceded to have a 3/4 minute conversation which was so irritating.
Honestly I go to the cinema quite a bit and this is the first time this has happened.
Anyway I didn't like it as much the second time as the first time but I think it's still a great film. Johnny Depp is a brilliant Mad Hatter, loved the March Hare (SPOON!) and HBC as the Queen of Hearts. I liked the Tweedles (I love my two fat boys) and the Cheshire Cat (love Stephen Fry).
Overall though Mia whatever her name is was weak as Alice but props for the British accent as I believe she's Australian and was irritated that the Mad Hatter didn't recite the whole of the Jabberwocky poem (as its one of my favourites).
I think the overall look of the film is amazing, Tim Burton is a genius.
Oh and I spotted a hidden mickey this time around - when the March Hare throws the green stuff at the door in the kitchen - did anyone else see it?

I saw it last week, and in my opinion it was *such* a waste of my time and money.
Johnny Depp seemed to have an accent change every few seconds, Alice looked kind of like she was one of the walking dead, the Queen of Hearts, when she said 'OFF WITH THEIR HEADS' said it waaaay too quickly, and since in the old movie that was one of the notable lines, she should have said it slower in my opinion.
The whole wedding concept and the fact that Alice was meant to be 19 was kind of silly for me also.
And at the end when Depp and Alice did that little jig, I totally facepalmed.
2/5 for me.

The film was okay, I found it quite intresting and Johnny depp as the mad hatter was funny. He talks much nonsense you couldn't even understand.

I haven't seen it yet. I think after reading what everyone has to say, I will just wait for it to come to video before watching it.

me and my friend just saw it. I didn't feel any 3D in the movie tbh
but Johnny like always was unique and hilarious and I loved The Red Queen's acting.
Honestly, this is my first time ever to see anything related to Alice in wonderland.Alice is my least favourite Disney character.

I saw it...I wouldn't miss nothing made by Tim Burton

It was okay nothing special, it's been hyped up far to much.
The camera work was brilliant (possibly the best thing about it - if I'm honest)
Hathaway was just as plastic as anything, ripping of Nigella Lawson... however that was Burtons idea.

I was a bit disappointed... Maybe just because I was a big fan of Alice books ever since I was a kid and I was expecting to much from it (It was Disney/family cinema in the end). However I enjoyed the film and had a good time ,but this film is not going to my favourites list.
Also as someone before me mentioned I have seen every Alice film there ever was ,and some are far better then Burton's work.
