Repo! The Genetic Opera

I was lucky enough to catch it on Austar one day, but then after that it was only on at like 3am so it was really hard to watch.
But then I found it on DVD, in one of the boxes underneath the shelf where they store extra copies yikes I was so desperate!

Until I watched it a few times I wasn't even sure if it was good or not, it was just really interesting - now I think it's good and underrated.
If your reading this without knowing what it is; it's a rock opera musical about everyone being addicted to surgery, and if they don't keep up with their payments their organs get repossessed.

Who else likes it? sourire

Repo’s great fun. I wouldn’t say it’s as great as Rocky Horror or Little Shop of Horrors but a good addition to the genre of horror musicals.

I haven't gotten to watch Rocky Horror all the way through yet, and I haven't seen any Little Shop Of Horrors.

i liked it,also saw rocky horror and little shop of horror.........i think their doing another movie similar to repo the genetic opra,.............. its called repo men and their is no singing in it but the trailer looks similar to repo the genetic opra

I loooove it!! My local cinema is showing it this month for one night and even though I've seen it 20+ times on DVD I think I'll have to go!!

Yeah, but it's not the same people who are making it. It's nothing to do with Repo! other than it's basically the same story.

yeah i know its not the same but similar story,when i saw the trailer repo/musical just came into mind so i made the connection^^

Repo Men sounds like a bit of a rip off... hum.
Although I heard it was based off a book?
The director or creater or whatever though is known to have gone to see Repo!

The book actually came out before the movie BUT Repo! the show came out before the book~

But I adore Repo! ^^ I sing the songs way too much, and another site I'm on even released Grave Robber clothing for your avvie~

It was published in March last year.
The film was released in 2008.
