Amazon sells the books and many of the movies, if you're having trouble finding them. *Nod*
Arillyn, of course! I'll add you to the list. *Smile*

I was Alice one year for Halloween. Am stoked for the new film coming out! I love Tim Burton's films.
I have a queen of hearts costume that I regularly wear for halloween and conventions. Lemme hunt up a pic online.

I love that costume. *Smile*
I have a different queen of hearts costume. A few Alice costumes, a hatter ensemble... *Ponder* And I could likely throw together a white rabbit costume as well.

Photoshop yourself into an entire cast? XD
I would love to get a group together to cosplay as Alice characters and act out the parts in public. >.> Of course, I also want to have a tea party in the elevators at my school. XD

I would do both of those things with you. *Laugh*

I love your costume!! I didn't actually buy my costume so it's not an accurate Alice. My friend just really wanted me to attend a costume party with her, so she bought me a costume.
I would definitely join your tea party! I've actually never had a tea party or been a part of one.

I just think a tea party with more than one person would make it funny rather than proof I need my head examined. XD

You've never been to a tea party? My goodness! I've been to many. And hosted several of my own. I adore a good tea party. *Smile*

I don't actually like tea, but to imagine a little table with two-three chairs set up inside the elevators with a table cloth, tea set, and finger foods in an elevator would be cute. Dressed up as well, we could chat normally but when we moved to a floor, we'd have to roleplay.

My school's located on the 7th and 8th floors of a professional building with other businesses in it in downtown L.A. We would have suits joining us. XD

Disney Store has begun selling items for the new movie (Started last week). I rather like this necklace.

However I am not terribly fond of the price... *Le'sigh*
Hot Topic & Disney Store have different versions of the same products (All official Disney though, of course) for the upcoming film. It is interesting to see the price differences.
Disney Store Queen wallet. 27.95
Hot Topic Queen Wallet. 20.00
Almost Alice CD pre-order.
$18.99 at Disney store
9.99 at Hot Topic. (Cheaper for me because I get a discount. *Giggle* )

I wanted to share my window pretties...

I still need to find a spot big enough for my "Off with his head!" heart.

Ooooh, I rather like this one (from the same Disney website)!
Definitely not able to afford it.
My favourite character is the Cheshire Cat. I'd like to get plush toy.
Petite Aristocrat, I really like your window displays! I'm usually the creepy person who stares intently at window stickies whenever I walk past any.

It's a lovely necklace. I wish they weren't so terribly pricey.
I'm going to get some more window stickies soon! The Tweedles, Alice & the flowers. *Smile* I love working at a shoppe that gets promotional goodies. *Giggle*

For those of you who haven't yet, time is running out to enter in the "6 Impossible Things" sweepstakes for the new Alice movie.

I have been entering every day!

Next week for work I am only working 3 days. However, each day I have to dress as an Alice in Wonderland character. So each day I shall be a different character. *Smile*

I'm going to the mall on Saturday with boyfriend and his roommate. So I guess I'll be stopping off at Hot Topic at some point. >.>

I work at Hot Topic. So I get 40 percent discount on all the lovely Alice in Wonderland items they are selling. And I get to take home all of the movie promotion items. *Smile* We get to dress up for various events through out the year and so on. This Friday the store is playing the Almost Alice soundtrack so people can listen to it before they buy it (It releases on the 2nd). The first few people to pre-order the CD on Friday at each store gets a free pack of exclusive promo cards from the movie.

My experience with Hot Topics is they like to hire punk-looking people, but of everything we've seen of you, you always seem cutesy. So how'd you manage to get them to hire you?

Offline
Oh really? I agree with Cryzilla. All of the workers I've seen at Hot Topic dress very punk. But I rarely shop there, so what do I know.

UK retailers of Alice goodies are:
Disney Store
Miss Selfridge
Claire's Accessories
There's not much really, but some cutesy clothes at Miss Selfridge. They're so cute

I've never looked punk but been hired at Hot Topic twice. They don't just hire punks. Only 2 punks work at my shop. Then there is a fellow who is in his early 30s who just wears slacks and a button up shirt (He is the store manager of another shop in the mall and works at HT for fun). There is a man in his mid 30s who has more of a hippy look. Long wavy blonde hair down to his lower back (Always in a pony tail) and T shirts w/ jeans sort of fellow. There is a girl who loves country music and tends to wear normal clothes. no piercings or anything. There is a girl who is slightly scene. There is a 'nerdy' looking fellow with big glasses, T shirts with over shirts and jeans. And there is a fellow who has a screamy music band who just dresses sort of dirty... Almost grunge but not quite. *ponder*... That is everyone at my store. *Nod*
During my previous employment only 2 punks worked there over a one year span of time. So they hire all kinds. *Nod*
