It has a little pop up bit with stuff from the film on it. smile

I've wanted tickets but the theatre here hasn't started pre-booking.  It's worrisome.  I love the Urban Decay Book of Shadows.  I don't want it though because I would never end up using it (Not much for makeup).  Something so pricey would need a purpose.  *Giggle*  I'll likely buy the Red Queen's lip stain and "Off with his head" perfume though.

Haven't you heard?  it isn't a remake.  It's a totally new story.  It's Alice's 'return' to Wonderland.  *Nod*

Yeah, it is expensive, but I'll probably use it quite a lot. I'd rather buy it than getting each eyeshadow seperately. Because theres only 2000 in the UK being sold, I'm staying up till midnight tonight to order it, even though school starts again tomorrow. Bit mad, aren't I  lol And I never knew there's a perfume? I only use perfume on special occasions and not day to day, so I won't have much use for that. Great name for it too!  big_smile

Well this one is technically Wonderland & The looking glass (Hence the white queen).  He has mixed elements of both worlds together to form a new co-existence between cards & chess.  *Nod*  However, Disney does love making sequals to movies that did well in the box office... And to movies that did not do so well in the box office.  So there is always that chance that they may have him make a second one.  I suppose it shall depend entirely on how well the end of the movie "concludes".

I see.  *Smile*  I don't generally use shadows.  I use fragrances more often than shadows, so for me it is the reverse.  *Smile*  They have some of the sets in shops near me.  They look so nice, but I must resist buying something I wont use.  *Giggle*

There is the lip stain and fragrance.  There are so many things I want that have come out for the new movie.

"But I don't want to be among mad people."  "Oh, you can't help that here.  We're all mad.  I'm mad; you're mad."  "How do you know I'm mad?"  "Well, you're here, aren't you?"

The queen of hearts, she made some tarts all on a summer's day.
The knave of hearts, he took those tarts, and stole them quite away.

You have to serve the cake before you cut it.

Bad riddance to good rubbish.

Pepper! It needs more pepper!

On a related note:  I found the cutest eat me plates at the Mall of America.  I didn't buy them because there weren't any drink me cups.  I regret this now and shall nag my boyfriend to take me next week when I visit him so I can stock up.

They're white and pinkish-purple glittery.  :3

I'm annoyed that in the commercial, the Red Queen says "Off with his head!"  o.O  Does Tim Burton not know the difference between the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts? D;

Re: Wonderlanders & Looking Glassers

He mixed the two characters together.  So she is the queen of hearts 'and' the red queen.  It's a bit confusing.  I was a little annoyed at first as well.  But I am going to try to enjoy it anyway.  I mean, it is his own interpretation, so we'll see how it works out.  *Nod*  I 'believe' he has also mixed the duchess in with the queens as well.  So she would be a mixture of 3 characters combined.

Hm, we'll see.  I'm just really annoyed as a lot of people really do get the two confused.  This isn't going to help it.

I saw the SyFy version a few weeks ago.  I quite enjoyed it.  The mad hatter seemed to be channeling Johnny Depp at points.  XD

I have the 1985 live actors made-for-tv versions of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass on my computer.  :3

That's really cool. I'd love to have a set, but unfortunately now, I am broke. But I found an 'eat me' plate online, is it similar?:

I have some little plates and some ceramic paint that no-one uses anymore, so I shall attmpt to make some for myself for free!

No, Eat me is centered and there is no picture of Alice.  Plus the plates are square.

I am so glad I am not the only one who noticed that! (In bold)  People said I was crazy.  But he was really doing it, I swear!

I have the 1985 one as well.  It is my favourite.  *Smile*  When I was little I watched it over and over again.  It drove my grandmother crazy.  *Giggle*  It was a new release back then.  I feel old now.

Re: Wonderlanders & Looking Glassers

*pet*  It's older than me, but they used to show it on tv all the time when I was a kid.  Through the Looking Glass gave me nightmares because of the jabberwocky coming through the mirror.  Now, I laugh at how clearly it's a man in a godzilla costume.  XD

Re: Wonderlanders & Looking Glassers

I bought myself a Tea Time necklace from Claire's Alice range to go with my handmade stuff smile It'll likely turn my neck green, but it's great smile

I once saw an open-air performance of Alice in Wonderland at a 1500 year old Roman Fort juts a few miles from where Carroll is said to have met Alice Liddell smile

Oooh, necklace photos?  To make a cheap necklace last, only wear it over collared shirts/blouses.  *Nod*

I can't find my copies of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, but I used to read them frequently as a kid.

I was Alice one year for Halloween.  Am stoked for the new film coming out!  I love Tim Burton's films.
