Music: Valravn
A Danish/Faroese/something-more-I-can't-remember-right now band. Playing old Danish, Faroese and Icelandic songs, in a genre known as folktronica. And they are AMAZING live! I've seen them 6 times, and it's only getting better!

From what I've seen/read/heard lately...
Films : Metropolis, Citizen Kane, Fahrenheit 451, Baisers Voles (if you're into old movies)
Books : "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley (brilliant dystopia), Terry Pratchett's "Mort" or practically anything from the "Discworld" series, Haruki Murakami's "Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World". Oh and Baudelaire's poems from "Flowers of evil".
Music : "Batcat" by Mogwai is one amazing piece of experimental music. Same goes for "Six days at the bottom of the ocean" by Explosions in the sky". Also, some really interesting bands worth checking out are The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Suicide, My Bloody Valentine - they're mainly post-punk/psychedelic/shoegaze.

BOOKS : anything by Tamora Pierce. The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings. Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy. To Kill A Mockingbird. anything by Jane Austen. Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. Sense And Sensibility And Sea Monsters.
SHOWS : Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Firefly. Invader Zim. Scrubs. The Tudors.
MOVIES : Repo! The Genetic Opera. Serenity. Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Labyrinth. P.S I Love You. V For Vendetta. The Princess And The Frog. Gone With The Wind.

Film : (Above 8 or 9) Avatar, The Spy Next Door, My Name is Khan (for those who know hindi language), Spider Man 3, Alvin & The Chipmunks & many, many more!
Books : Since I'm just 10, and read many young girls books (not baby's ones) I would mostly prefer Meg Cabot books, Camp Confidential Books, Twilight (14-16+), The Callahan Cousins books, (Only has 2 books)
Music : Sooo many! Demi Lovato - Here We Go Again, Remember December, Dont Forget, Gift of a friend. Black Eyed Peas - I gotta feeling, meet me halfway, Boom boom pow.
