ARIAL!! when i saw the white 5 de mayo dress i thought "that looks like a mexican dress" then i read it was! great job!
off topic-on topic.. i have never understood why in the states they make a big deal of 5 de mayo.. i mean we don't even celebrate it that much here.. well maybe they do in puebla, the place where the battle occurred (battle against the french we won).. but most of the other states don't really care about that date/celebration.. we celebrate more independence day which is on september 16 or mexican revolution november 20 or day of death november 2 (i love that day it's fun, interesting, folkloric, etc)
so i totally don't get where USA got that 5 de mayo was a really big deal
i mean it's important but other celebrations are more popular..

We celebrate Cinco de Mayo because we need frequent liquor holidays.
January 1: New Years (champagne)
February 14: Valentine's Day (red wine)
March 17: St. Patrick's Day (Irish beer / green beer)
April ???: rut roh, we don't have a drinking holiday for April, but don't worry, we'll tack an extra one into early May...
May 5: Cinco de Mayo! (margaritas)
Late May: Memorial Day (beer)
June ???: well, we got two in May so we don't NEED a June one. Besides, in early July we have...
July 4: Independence Day (beer)
August: OH NOES! We don't have an August drinking holiday!
Late September: Labor Day weekend (beer)
October: Halloween (spirits and pumpkin beer)
November: Thanksgiving (wine)
December: Christmas (eggnog)

hahaha wow and i thought us mexicans would take any chance we've got to celebrate and drink.. we even had a taco day!! it was hilarious they made "day of taco" it was successful the first time.. the year after i don't really remember.. now they all forgot about it lol.. i wonder what "holidays" they will come up with next

ROTFLOL! Too true.... Although no offical holiday for August, I live in a college town and the bars always celebrate going back to school in August with drink specials! And also, isn't Oktoberfest for like, a whole WEEK in October? Don't forget that one!
But we really should come up with something for those months missing out of our drinking reasons list!

Hi...my name is Marina and I'm new to the forums. I'm a graphic designer and have been on Miss Bimbo for over a year...level26. I've wanted to design an outfit for some time but just got inspired today. I saw this thread and thought I'd post a picture of it to see what everyone thinks! This outfit can still use some work but it's pretty good...I don't have a name or occasion for it but was thinking it would be a good "Vegas Showgirl" or "Mardi Gras" costume. So...should I keep making more outfit? Should Miss Bimbo hire me?

Ann Madison's designs are really well made and are perfect for this site, she should definitely do designs for Nine's
