How To: embed a youtube video (guide)

1.Go to www.youtube.com and find the video you would like to post
2. Copy the URL as shown here:

3. Find the thread you would like to post in.

Here write the following:
[youtube]URL HERE[/youtube]

Example here

And simply, press submit.

The result:

Troubleshooting
A list of problems that can occur:

When i try to play my video it sais "embedding disabled by request"
Depending on where you are from, some youtube languages support an option for the creator of the video to disable embedding, wich is what we are doing here, you can check for it in the right hand box on the youtube site, if it sais embedding disabled, your video will not work.

i've done both.. like your example or taking the url from the info on the right side of the video.. and I don't know why only some work.. but it seems kinda random don't know why..

I must admit i have never ever had that problem and i embed alot of videos everyday here (metalheads thread) today i have embedded about 5 or so and i reguairly to it with my own ferret videos.

Maybe its some odd thing the youtube in your contry has?

I'm from the US. It's prolly because I chose music videos, not independently made videos. smile

nope... not to brag but i've been in 3 countries this year so far and i have tried to post this video that never lets me watch here.. but others seem to work...

let's see if using both urls... maybe only one of them work an di just happen to use the wrong one?

well actually the video does not allow you to embed it.. so.. yah... i happen to want to post videos that don't let you do it blebl

click and on the right side bellow the URL says embed.. and it says: Embedding disabled by request

duhh haha i feel so dumb now goutte so it's not a MB problem or something.. it was the actual video the one that didn't let me post it tongue and I just figured it out

so BIMBOS be sure the video you want to use doesn't say "Embedding disabled by request" on it

edit: I changed it to stains, my fav dog in the world coeur lol
