You just click and hold them - drag them towards the floor.
I havent heard about anyone else have a bug like this, so maybe your not doing it right?

i liked the idea of having furniture in a room, just have one suggestion....i think we should be able to scale the furniture i.e. be able to make it bigger or smaller (maybe even flip the furniture) because otherwise all you have is one big furniture in the room (like the bed)

Hey! Love the furniture, only where is the kitchenstuff... can't wait to place it in my cool appartment... Like the fact that it is now way cooler to have a more expensive appartment, and not only to gain more BA, but also to decorate everything!
Hope there's coming more stuff soon...
