Well, for PC games, I only play, or have played:
Byond (Long ago. It was a game site people greated NES and SNES style games, and shared them with others. I played this back in 2003....Was mostly on Icon Chatterz, Dragon Warrior Online, and Proelium)
Runescape (Stopped back in March of 2006. All I remember is that I was level 114.)
Gaiaonline (I am still there, but I don't donate anymore, due to the disliking of how Gaia has been lately.)
Other Online games I play (Ps3):
Warhawk: Not too often anymore, but I do play it, and I still love it. It is the classic multiplayer game for me on PS3. I am 3000 points short of Captain.
Demons Souls: I am playing this now, but I doubt anyone here even has this game. I had to import it from Asia, and it is a very fun game. It is like.....Diablo meets FF8's last dungeon meets Shadow of the Colossus. When you play online though, everyone else are ghosts on your screen, and they can write runes and such messages on the ground for you.
Little Big Planet: Love the game, haven't touched it in a while though. I do when I come up with a great level idea.

Guess it's just you and me, baby

Aw this thread is different than how I thought it would be! I don't play pc games online, I'm an X360 gamer
It's nice to see this thread here though, the only other game threads I see around are usually the ones in the boys lounge!
Offline

?Oh I am a console gamer too! What do you play? I am actually looking to buying an xbox360 finally. I want to play Phantasy Star Universe on the 360 and Fatal Frame.
edit, I changed the introduction to include consoles, I meant all games really because I heart video games!!!

I would like to be a part of this group, doesn't seem like too many people have signed up so far - but im a gaming girl. (Thats just by looking at this thread.)
i prefer ps3 & xbox360, but i enjoy the new MMORPG's.
used to play WoW, but got over it. account is still up but i don't use it.
i am currently trying out 'shaiya', its not too bad - but i prefer WoW.
I generally like arcade style games, ratchet & clank, GTA4, call of duty etc.
Do we get a banner or something?
Banners are those things that are in the "signature" area like yours Kawakami isn't it?
Im still learning things here and there in Miss Bimbo.

Deadly! I play a lot of FPS and RPG games. I like things like Gears of War, Half Life and Metal Gear Solid as well as Oblivion and Fallout. I also play adventure and arcade games like Ratchet and Clank (love those lil guys!
) and Portal. So in short I like pretty much any genre apart from sports games!
I've never played Wow, I would like to give it a go but I don't want to end up spending a lot of money on it. It sounds like the kind of thing I could get addicted to, which is not at all good
Offline

Oh jeez, I just started a thread similar to this, I need to read these more thoroughly... I'm pretty into PC games (too poor for an Xbox and all that jazz).
I mostly play World of Warcraft and all the previous Warcraft games (DoTA too), but I was pretty into Halo a few years back... lost my touch.
I've tried my hand at some other FPS games but I'm TERRIBLE!
I also enjoy Sims and Tycoon games... kind of silly but they are ridiculously fun, I have the RC3 Gold edition and all the Zoo Tycoons...
I DO however own a PS2 and I'm a die-hard Sims fan... but nothing anyone else really likes. >.<

We should totally hook up.
Hahaha, we are like the perfect match!
Well i hope that this group takes off a bit, because i think it would be interesting to see how many girls are passionate about ACTUAL gaming.
As for WoW, its not something you want to get into - WAY TOO ADDICTIVE.
Like seriously. I've heard of people dropping out of year 12 to catch up before the next patch or updates came out.
That kind of stuff is ridiculous.
WoW is the devil. Fun, in a satanish sorta way
Lets get this thread going!

I second that.
Allllllliance or Horde?
I used to play it, but had to move on - WAY TO EXPENSIVE
AND
Just way to addictive for me, had to get off it.
Sims is a good run of games, i am into all those too.
Well if your ever interested in playing games online or something - pm me
Girls! We have to get this group/thread going, i think we would get a WHOLE LOT of support

I would love to see a gamer group take off too because I know there are alot of gamers here and it's so fun to talk about and play with other people. I can make a banner if you want. If you have a better group name, let me know. This is my first try at it : )

Yes. It is really...really good. I just beat a boss last night that was a terrific idea too. This boss...when you get near his room, a cutscene triggers, where he shows to be summoning a Phantom from the underworld. After the cutscene, you get an alert telling you that a PKer broke into your server. Truth be told, when you get up to this boss, the "Summoned Phantom" IS the PKer. This Boss apparently summons Player Killers to be your boss in this area. I thought it was very cool.
I tell you, if you got a PS3, buy it, and play with me. :3

I watched some video of the game on youtube, looks too wicked. I want to play but probably by the time I get it you will be bored lol. It's not region locked either which is great.
oh and I made a Group banner in the anyone who wants to use it. will make a few different versions and sizes.
I am presently playing Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, it's free and a pain to install but I would love it if anyone wants to join me

Kawakami: Shaiya is ok, its got nothing on WoW. But its extremely similar - problem i found with it though was that the "goals" or "quests" whatever you want to call them were not straight forward enough. It was very frustrating, especially for a first time player of Shaiya - or even for someone that played an MMORPG for the first time. The goals were like "Go see this person, on that planet, in a universe somewhere." Kinda ridiculous.
WoW isn't too bad, i think you need to be a fairly dedicated gamer though to play it. Otherwise its a waste of money - there is no playing MB or any other game for that matter because its just way to time consuming. And i know people say that they will only play it "here and there" but you can't. For the money you pay to access the game its a ridiculous thought to think that you will only play it "occasionally."
Unless you like paying like $50 every few months just to access a game your only going to pay "occasionally"
I enjoy WoW though, but the money involved SUCKS.
So, are you wanting a new name for this group then? Yeah i reckon we should have some radazhell banner! Hahaha.
Cause i'm sure that the people that play MB or even other games for that matter wouldn't really be 'hardcore' gamers haha but i think thats a cool name.
I would offer to make a banner but i dont have the programs/skillz to do that.
Lets get this kicked off guysssss!

Well I consider myself a Hardcore gamer because I practically live to game!
I used to play alot of pay to play games like Final Fantasy XI, Everquest, Resident Evil Outbreak, but now I am playing mostly F2P until I find something that I really really want to play.
Well I made a couple of banner type things, will make more later. anyone can add any ideas you want to see in the intro section.

I dont think the "Money" involving wow is alot, it's what someone going out would spend in a night at the club/pub on drinks. I've played wow since release now, I'm playing on the european servers on Stormreaver PvP.
I also love RTS more then any other genre (Ofc not counting MMO's there
), but I've played quite a few FPS in my days.
Offline

I said the money was only a huge disadvantage for the game in the sense that people are only going to play it occasionally.
If your someone that plays it continually then its not THAT bad.
I played WoW, not since release but not long after release - up until the level 70 patch and then i slowly stopped playing.
I enjoy WoW and if i could afford it and didnt use a laptop now i would still play.
I played on american server - blackrock as a horde.
Account is still active, just have to put some time on it haha.
I like the banner Kawakami, its cool.
Ill pop it in my signature in a tick!

Still, even though you play casually its not alot of money.
You guys ever played broken sword?

Hi. I play on PC, Wii, DS, NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, PS2.
My top 5 games: 1-Guild Wars, I think it's better than WoW because you don't have to pay for it. And the graphics are awesome.
2: Super Mario Bro's. If you love gaming you have to love the classics.
3: The legend of Zelda. Classics FTW!
4: Animal Crossing for DS. I am a girl so I like those kind of games too.
5: Bio-shock. Awesome graphics and game play. Definitely a game to play in the dark.
There's my list. Thanks for reading!

Ha ha, yeah my sister plays it a lot. It's one of the girliest games I've ever seen that doesn't feature excessive pink or My Little Pony. And it's so darn cute
