Thanks Lida, I try to think of it like that.
I'm taking 13 reasons why back today, so none of my future opinions can be fact-checked. Random observation: I was trying to puzzle out why they numerated some of the letters in the title, they make the number 13. DUH!

yea I suppose.
How about we make a draw of whoever picks the number closest to the number I pick from 1-25 can pick the next book, and it can be anyone who has previously discussed any of the books, since some of the regulars weren't here for this one. And it will be the person closest on the ending of my day (Central time) on the 21st.
Does that sound good?

Anyone can be in the book group, all you have to do is read the books and we discuss them
We are pretty lax on dates though, we finish whenever.
You would have had to participate in the previous discussions on here or the Bimbo Bookworm Club to join in on the picking the next book contest.

I'm going to join in when the next book is announced... The City Library doesn't have the current one.

Corazie, I got my copy off scrib'd. I just found someone with it on their list and asked them to email it to me. Not nearly as fun to read as a real, physical book, but it's nice when you don't want to spend money or the library doesn't have it.
My number is 17
Although I actually failed at discussion this time, I know. But I promise that the busy-ness will lessen soon. I move on tuesday

Woohoo! I'm psychic! Hahaha. I can't believe that was really it. Sorry I ruined your contest
Well then. How about The Perks of Being a Wallflower? I was thinking of suggesting The Effect of Living Backwards, but on second thought, it sounds a bit hard to read right now. But I do have a copy of it if that sounds better than Wallflower.
On a side note, if you're looking for an interesting non-fiction, The World Without Us by Alan Weiseman is really good.
On a humorous, non book-related side note, my dad used to co-manage an inn that had a pub, and now the hotel is being rented out to the local college for dorm space, so the pub was closed. And so now there are two boxes full of various wine and spirits in my house that we have no idea what to do with.

I got too busy for the last round, but I'm definitely up for whatever's picked next. I've been meaning to read Perks of Being a Wallflower anyway.

haha I was confused when you said you didn't read normal books, because my other thought would have made it abnormal, and that sounded weird, so I am happy that I understand now.
Lol...I'm glad were on the same page now.
