That still sucks. I was sad when my best friend moved even though I didn't see her all that much. I think it was knowing that I wouldn't be able to see her when I wanted, since she was leaving the state.

I've just finished the first book and really enjoyed it!! I am going to start the second book and them get the next one smile.

By the way, is Bubba in the first book supposed to be Elvis?? I've read on a couple of sites he is but wondered if you ladies knew for sure??

I couldn't believe that Tara wasn't even in the first book yet she was in the series. And then Lafayette was killed at the start of the second book. I am still hoping it wasn't him in the car.

Sorry didn't mean to confuse you!! I know he weren't killed in the show but I am hoping that it wasn't him in the car in the second book. So I guess I am asking if Lafayette dies in the second book??

Eta: Because now (after reading the first book) I have seen that the TV show has altered a lot of stuff, like Tara being in season one even though she isn't even in the book. If that makes sense lol.

Yea Tara isn't in the books much, plus she has a different life than the Tara in the show.  Same with Jason's V addiction.

Yeah, Lafayette is not in the books at all except the little mention of him in the first book. I like Tara much better in the books than the show. I usually end up just getting annoyed with her storyline. I know he had to make more characters have bigger parts in the show, but I'd prefer to see more about Hoyt, or even them starting an early version of Arlene's story from the books.
