Well I really love the series, to me the series is better than the show, but it is good in its own way. Of course I may be kind of bias as I loved the books before the show.

For those that don't know I work in a bookstore and today we got this in:

I was so excited. It makes me wonder though; what are they going to do when they send Sookie and Bill to Dallas. I think that is one of the reasons they developed the side characters more in True Blood, so that they could still remain in Bon Temps, whereas in the book they were completely in Dallas during it.

yea, considering if they are sticking with the books I liked him a lot more than in the books. I think he was up for best supporting actor.

It's amazing on some forums how mucj bickering went on just over if the leg was white or black.

I think they mostly want to bicker. However there are the people that argue with the lighting and all that. It's just like hmmm I wonder who had painted toenails.

I just reread the series right before the new book came out, and what was getting me was how nice Sookie seemed to dress, and really the worst things she wore were to the orgy thing and the little skirt to club dead. But in the show she is wearing the bra showing shirts and really reveiling stuff. blebl

I love the book series!!! I read all the books even the latest one. I watched TruBlood because I was a little skeptical about the series being as good as the books but I ended up watching all the episodes for the entire season, and cant wait for the next season starting soon!!!

Yea I like it when people buy books blebl Then again I can't really talk as I buy my books used because I wouldn't have a paycheck if I bought them all new.

I know, I was really nervous for the show too. if I hadn't read the books I wouldn't have stuck with it though because it was too sexually graphic for my taste. I got hooked though. I like how they changed up enough things but they are fine with me, becuase they didn't change anything I liked. I mean if they decided not to make Eric a viking I would have been upset, but to make Jason an addict just adds because I didn't really care for him in the books.

Even though in the books did you think Tara was black? They always said olive tone skin, but i wasn't sure what that was.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I am sooo in love with True Blood. I got the books in a boxed set for Christmas, and demolished them all within a week and a half. The latest one, Dead and Gone, I read in one 5 hour long power session. And then I proceeded to re-read the entire seres again. big_smile I'm such a book nerd.

The trailers look so good. Stephen Moyer is hottt. (Yes, he gets three T's.) Whoever they have playing Eric . . . can you say yum?
