Soooo I was in waterstones today, mainly beause I was too nervous to hand in my CV to the store opposite, but I had a nice look around smile
In the kiddies section they had kiddie books that came with some kiddie toys. And in between the kiddies books and the other kiddie books they had...an aquarium! Ok first I was convinced it was fake and the bubbles were fake and the plants were fake and - basically everything was not real and the fishies were robots. So I watched - and hey they watched me too!

Point isby the end of it I got kinda freaked out and jumped everytime one of them made a small move. I feel a little lame but I think they're really creepy. I don't want fish anymore.

Crows - they're creepy too. And pigeons. I always think they're following me hmm

Are there any features of animals that freak you out?

Moving fish eyes don't bother me, but the dead fish eyes do. Also there used to be a Poster od Devon Sawa in my room that I swear followed me around.

Do animal eyes count if they suddening all look in the same direction at one time, like my dog. It's like I don't want to know what they are seeing.

Kitty eyes are weird! they have multiple eyelids! My hubby never knew that and the other day I was telling him about how my old cat was sick and her inner eyelids started to close and he was like "What?!" So he started to watch The Fatman sitting on the couch, finally he saw th einner eyelids and jumped back freaked out.

Kitties have weird eyes... and there pupils get so skinny... weird...

Hey, I love fish eyes. I love to eat them. (I think it's an Asian thing. Grandma always saved the eyeballs for us kids).

I'm not creeped out.

I think what's cool are goat and sheep eyes.

Their pupils are long and horizontal so you really can't tell which direction they are looking at.

I think that they are cute anyway, but their eyes are weird. I think that there are probably a few animals with eyes like this, but goats were the first that came to mind.

I also am not a fan of pink eyes from albino animals. For some reason looking at them hurts my eyes. It is very strange.

I know!! They are so weird.

On another note, the cutest eyes belong to the Slow Loris.

Look at those little peepers! For anyone who has a chance, go on youtube and look up a video of one. I saw this one video of a guy eating some fruit, and it basically made me wet myself it was so cute.

My mother had a cataract operation that took out her natural lens, and replaced with an artificial one. Her eyes now reflect light like an animal. It took some getting used to...especially since I leaned side to side when looking at her because I was staring at her eyes.

Back to topic....sheep eyes are weird. Eyes don't bother me though, unless it's dead. I can't anything that is looking back at me. My husband swears I ate fish with the head on, but it grosses me out completely. I guess I feel less guilty about eating meat when it isnt staring at me.

Indeed! Who wants to look into those sad little shriveled peepers while eating? Not me.

When I was younger, my church (a Ukrainian one) always had a pig roast in the summer. Every year, one drunk Ukrainian guy would take the pig head and hold it over his and do a battle cry with the poor, cooked pig's eyes looking out at the crowd. Terrifying.

i think it's creepy when my dog stands perfectly still and stares off into the distence with an almost scared look on his face.

then it's creepier when he looks from me to the same spot over and over again w/ that same look on his face sad

Zurkee, the fish in your photo aren't very fresh. hein A fresh fish should have clear glassy eyes and a sheen on their skin. Like these:

I had to dissect a cow eyeball once. The white part was really tough actually, and slippery at the same time, and the scalpel didn't want to cut it. When I finally got the scalpel to go thru, it squirted everywhere. Mostly water, but it was still gross
