Things that irritate me. My list is endless but I will keep it short.
I cannot deal with idiot drivers, especially speed freaks, people who cut me up and tail gaters. If they want to kill themselves that is their choice but they do not have the right to endanger other road users.
People who use their mobile phones whilst driving. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!
Criminals who do not get what they deserve because out criminal justice system is pathetic. Some horrible little s...t attacks an old lady, steals her purse and beats her up and he gets away with a total useless fine and community service. Like that is going to stop them offending again!!! Our prison system is just a glorified holiday camp. They get 3 good meals a day, tv, dvds, radios, newspapers, games, pool tables and if they are in for a long time they can even study for a degree at the tax payers expense. Arrrrrggghhhhhh!
People that interrupt conversations. Thats just bad manners.
I'm going to stop now before I start boring people...lol

Oooh, annoying kids who play their ringtones when they're walking around or on the bus. Not everybody wants to listen to your tinny and naff music kids... turn it off!!
And the parents that take their kids to supermarkets. Especially when their kids are wearing those god awful roller skate shoes. If I had a pound for every time I've been knocked into by one of those screaming brats, I'd be rich... or at least a little better off than I am now

Offline

OOH! Double rant!
I can't stand those roller shoes either.
I work at a restaurant and there was a child who fell and broke his knee AND our glass door.
It was ridiculous, but I personally feel like the kid probably learned a lesson.

I can honestly say that when I have children, they will never be allowed anything that can be considered as an annoying fad.
Yes, Cally, hopefully that kid did learn a lesson. I hope his parents offered to pay for the door.

My daughter Thank God has enough sence to not want those horrible shoes.
But I would not allow her to wear them just the same.
One of my daughters friends was wearing those wone day when I was watching her. the little brat would not stop rolling around in crouds, we were art the Grove in Beverlty hill and this little twit of a child would not mind me. last time she was invited anywhere.

I can't remember. It was really an "OMFG" moment.
Irritation number 3 : My mother-in-law buying too many gifts for my children, especially after she's been explicitly told that we have no more room! GRR

People who leave things lying around after them. For example taking dirty clothes off and just leaving them on the floor instead of putting them in the washing basket, leaving dinner plates on the table and not scraping left overs in the bin, when people dont make their bed lol i could name a million things that irritate me

Hmmm... can't tell, do you have messy flatmates, children, or a man who can't clean up after himself?

Another thing that drives me nuts, which is not included, is when you have dry feet and the skin catches on clothing, blankets, etc. Drives me absolutely crazy!!!!!! I guess I could always just pumice, but you know, I'm busy.

Guilty. But then I clean up in the morning. I'm just too tired to be bothered at night.

But I think what I find worse than all of that is when I see young girls and guys looking for boyfriends and girlfriends online. The young girl one's I find the worst because they don't seem to realise the dangers out there! When they do that, it just makes me so angry that I feel they deserve what's coming to them!
I found the love of my life online, and I absoloutly love what come to me when I met him! Im not being funny but I dont think you can comment on things you have no knowledge of. Fair enough if you are under 18 and posting half naked pics of yourself all over the internet but I was 18 at the time and wasnt exactly looking for a boyfriend. Just happened. So I agree with you if you mean little girls giving it away but not if you mean everybody who dates online in general.
Considering I said young girls and guys, I thought I was making it clear enough that I meant the under 16's. Those crazy teens that pop onto miss bimbo and other sites asking if people want to see their pic's or looking for boyfriends and girlfriends.
At 18 you're an adult not a young girl.
Another pet peeve I hate it when someone misinterprets what I say, because it only means wasting time explaining myself. Not a dig at you Ella but you kind of reminded me.

right, many MANY things, some of which have already been mentioned, i think i agree with pretty much everyone!!!
- slow walking people who take up the whole path/road/corridor so you can't get past - you must know you're holding people up, so why do it!!! once a person realised they were in my way but instead of moving out of the way when they could they just smiled smugly at me - arrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!
-people who cough/sneeze without covering their mouths, especially all over me on the train/tube sounding like they have emphysema (sp?) - if you're THAT sick, stay at home
- the noise plastic wrapping makes, especially people eating something that comes in plastic wrapping in a quiet place, like nails down i blackboard for me
- people who don't say thank you when you e.g. hold a door open for them, or appologise when they bash into you in the street
- people who talk on mobiles in restaurants - it's just rude
- poor grammar (tho i expect there will be some poor grammar in this just to spite me!)
- kids who play music loudly on their mobiles - i just don't get it, the walkman was such a huge success cos it meant you DIDN'T have to inflict your music on everyone else! headphones were invented for a reason!!
- people acting awfully/neglecting with their kids, such as the story earlier in the thread about the young mum in mcdonalds, i just can't stand it, take care of your children!!!! i don't mean the odd incident where a mum looses her rag and shouts at her kid who is playing up in the supermarket or whatever, i can totally understand that, i mean people who clearly just have no regard for the well-being of their children
- just generally, people who are rude, there's no need, it's not going to get you anywhere. i get unbelievably irritated all the time (can you tell?!?!) but i don't tend to explode with rage until the person is out of range
- incompetence (don't get me started) and general stupidity - i don't believe you don't get it, you're just doing it deliberately either to annoy everyone or to abdicate responsibilty
- people who stop in front of the ticket barriers on the underground, blocking the way for 5 mins while they find their ticket/oyster card - FIND IT BEFOREHAND OR AT LEAST MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!!
- people who put things that are clearly non-recyclable in my recycling bag - the bin is right next to it, all you have to do is open the lid, its not THAT difficult
- when whole class fulls of people at uni just won't participate at all - waste of everyone's time - apparently they're scared...well, in my opinion, you want a degree, get a backbone, or else get out of my class.
i'll stop now, i'm sorry, i guess i'm really not very tolerant!!!

definitely poor personal hygiene...how can anyone have bad hygiene???????????? its annoying and disgusting when people walk past in the street and you gasp at their smell :S yuck!
also people who talk REALLY LOUDLY on their mobiles!!! and its always in places like a quiet train!! or a lift!! i think they just do it to show off personally...do they really think we care about their job or their personal life??
i also hate people in the supermarket whjo just stand their chatting to their friends whilst everyone else is trying to get past!! GRRRRR
and i hate pretty much everyone who treats me like rubbish whilst i wait on them hand and foot as a waitress in my restaurant!!! lol
i also hate bad drivers and people who cut me up or swear at me for doing the speed limit when there are speed cameras just around the corner...SORRY!!! lol
ok rant over
i really like this thread lol

oh i also hate people who dont thank you when you let them go whilst driving!!! these people have NO COMMON COURTESY!!!! many taxi drivers do this and as a result i no longer let taxi drivers go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Yeah, that is annoying. Each of my pregnancies were very hard on my back, my second one was the worst on my overall health. I was extremely hypoglycemic and had to sit down a lot because of the dizziness. At my in-law's parties they all knew I was pregnant and having a hard time, but they'd hog the seats and wouldn't give me one.
