Well, only one guy admits so far to ugly being a problem.  Either there are liars or a lot of blind people on this site.  XP  Face it, most of y'all would never date a female version of Quasimodo.  Heck, most guys would never date me.  And I fancy myself at least better than a hunchback.  D;  Even if I have absolutely no chance in heck of winning a beauty competition.

That's cause I like playing with photoshop.  And yeah, that is me.
But what factors into attraction is so complex.  It's certain physical characteristics that prove fertility, pheromones, previous learning, etc.  That's why some guys prefer butts or hips, while others like breasts.  But they also tend to find characteristics similar to their mother more attractive.  So a guy with a fat mother is more likely to eye me than one with a supermodel kind.  >.>
And pheromones is pretty much a classifieds ad for mother nature.  It sends out messages telling everyone what my immune system is like and in return, I am naturally attracted sexually to those whose immune systems are very different, based on their messages.  >.>

But, it'd be dumb to ignore society's influences.  In times when only the wealthy could afford to eat well, societies found weight to be beautiful.  An overweight girl was healthy, well-nourished, and likely, very fertile.  But now that we live in times of excess, they're looked down upon.  Twiggy became the ultimate symbol of beauty, at one point, for god's sake...now we've entered an obsession with fitness. =/
So there are a lot of people who grew up hearing that fat = lazy = binging = unattractive, so that's how they feel about it now.  Same for ugly.

Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.

This is really true and its something that a lot of people are uncomfortable with. Its simply that you find people attractive who have a nature, a certain smile, a "way" that is similar to people who loved and cared for you when you were very young and vulnerable and discovering the world.

For example, I once really fell for a sexy lady who, when we hung out and had a REALLY good laugh, she had a nature and sense of humour that reminded me of my brother, who lives far away at the other side of England.

I also love pretty oriental ladies. From the day I was born until 6 years old there was a pretty half-Chinese girl who was 2 years older than me and she lived next door and visited me lots and was loads of fun. She is the first friend outside of my family that I remember.

My mother? She is a classic hollywood-style beauty, even now at 61 yrs old. So guess what kinda women I like?....

Looks have never really played much of a part for me, I mean sure it can get your attention but what I've found is when I've got to really know somebody, I just get attracted to who they are, and then that can really shine through and make the person so beauitful in many ways. Having that connection and bond with somebody will always rank miles above looks.

Cool poll, to ask the guys what to they find most unatractive about us women... And by the way, I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so no one can judge how "beautiful" someone is. Besides, beauty is not how a person looks, the personality and the attitude is what it makes a person beatiful. At least that's my opinion.

It was terrible.  I was such a pretty little girl before puberty.  Tall, thin, model-type.  But yeah...puberty was cruel to me.
