Please remember that the BMI doesn't really apply if you are under (the age of) 18.

BMI can be apply for teens, if they don't grow up anymore.

which is great because everyone in my family is so small and skinny and I've been trying soooo hard to get some muscles.
As others have said the BMI is not really that reliable. I do ballet and I'm on my college's track team. Some of the girls in the track team appear to be 'overweight' when they are actually just much more toned and stronger than others; the majority of the girls in ballet and I usually come off as 'underweight' but we all eat healthy and more than 3 times a day, we exercise more than 3 hours each day, and we don't look like skeletons.
We all get physicals regularly and they come back great. Some of us have been working with nutrionists and personal coaches for several years now. We follow strict work-out regimens designed to keep us healthy and in the best physical condition. The results we all get from our BMI couldn't be further from truth.
It really depends on how your body's built, and it is specially inaccurate on younger people.

I'm 164cm and 41kg, and have suffered with an eating disorder for 2 and a bit years.
My lowest has been 14.5, and soon hoping to get back to that soon.

Mine is 32, which probably makes me sound huge to anyone reading this, but I'm not. I am a size 14 (or occasionally 16) in UK sizes, which is just under the UK average. I appreciate I'm on the chubby side, but I am not obese. I have a heavy skeleton and I'm very muscular. I have to say that I dont think the BMI is entirely accurate. I get that for many it works, but its not the best way of testing health- body fat percentage, and skin folds tests (using calipers to test the amount of fat in different areas of the body) are more accurate.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?

mines 19.4

i always thought i was a bit low, but thank god im not

Mine's 18.5. My doctor said it should be 20 to be considered healthy. But it is a silly measure anyway.

19.5 but i never see myself as the low side of healthy. i've never liked this BMI thing, since they don't account for male/female (i know this one claims it does, but BMI is just calculated as kg/meters x meters). certainly i would say a man my height and weight is far too thin since he would be broader and more muscular.

"You are seriously overweight for your height
Your BMI is 37.04
If your BMI is between 30 and 39.9 you're obese. This means you're well over the ideal weight for your height. This could cause serious health problems and affect your life expectancy.
Are you eating more than the recommended amount of calories per day? Are you getting enough exercise? Once you gain the confidence to start exercising regularly you'll notice a huge difference.
Speak with your GP for advice if you've tried to lose weight without success.
Top tip
As part of a healthy well-balanced diet, cut down on salt and alcohol. Try to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables. Also, eat smaller portions at mealtimes and avoid snacking between meals."
Thanks for making me depressed, stupid BMI.
