I think it's hilarious that the once desperately hated "tapered" jeans are now suddenly cool and being called "skinny" I even recenlty saw a pair with the zippers on the back of the ankle old school style...what next, acid wash?
1987 was a bad year for all fashion...even tapered jeans.

Skinny jeans look really ugly on most women and all men, in my opinion. Too many people have twiggy chicken legs or no hips and I can't find the look at all appealing.
Low-rise boot cuts are ok, but I usually wear loose capris or dresses.

Indeed! Skinny jeans are not very flattering for ladies with curves such as me. It doesn't help that literally all my weight is stored in my thighs and butt either. I do like the look of skinnies though, but I have to go with the universally flattering straight leg.

I love skinnies, they look so much nicer and the colours of them are amazing.
But this is just my personal preference, I understand that other people prefer different types.
