What are your opinions on the torture and dentention of suspects?

what I'd like to know is what do they do with the inmates at Guantanamo once they find out they're innocent.

It's funny because the three people who said that it is good and necessary probably think that they're more patriotic than the rest of us. They don't realize how they're supporting policies that are in direct opposition to the Constitution.

Well they are doing it in China and both the U.S & U.K say nothing about it.

Well. We went through hello just to lease the land from Cuba and it's a necessary strategic point to keep open, but I think Guantanamo Bay should be used for the specific purpose of detaining only the most hardened criminal that we wouldn't dare think about escaping into our country.

Saddam and Bin Laden would be the first two to come to mind.
Now a couple of men that I read about not too long about? Beaten up for information they didn't possess. Deprived of food and sleep for days. Denied help from the US.
One man? All because he was Arabic.

Disgusting, yo.

But I'd never ask for it to be shut down. We'd be up a creek after that, you know.

I take my comment back then. I'm not sure how I forgot the death penalty and torture methods in China. I really shouldn't mess with world politics, I'm out of my depth.
