i hate the pussies!! they're lyrics are cheap, they're videos are cheap, they're music is cheap! why is anybody listening something like this?! i hate when a song has stupid lyrics, especially those- yeah, i'm the love doctor, i'm a big mama, i'm a yeah ,i'm so cool..
bzzz.,***-no,you're not! i mostly don't like girl bands or women artists (i don't know why, i can't stand those voices),.,.but pussycatdolls- buaaah!! i mean, they're representing something like "smart strong women! or what?! and then they're dancing naked behind a chair and singin.- pushin up my buttons bejb!

I'd hope young girls wouldn't try to imitate them, they are just normal women who entertain for a living. I really feel it's a parents responsibility to monitor their children.

they are good role models for dancers....... but bad for image

they are ok. I like them

With the way they dress no. Some music is ok ,but some of it is very inappropriate for he age groups that listen to them.

I would probably do more than cry if I saw my kid dressed like them. They are naaaaasty!

They are talented, wealthy, beautiful adult women who create something that is entertaining for many people.
I'm pretty sure they aren't drug abusers, criminals, or anything that you should REALLY want to protect your kids from becoming.
I think the real question you want to ask yourself is if your daughter grew up to be a very wealthy, famous, well adjusted adult woman with high self worth, and esteem...Would that be so bad? Really?
So your teenager (not child, PCD is simply not for little children) is discovering a form of sexuality, but at least they aren't out discovering meth, or heroine.
Big picture people.

i think its lame that children these days list celebrities as their role models and heros. What happened to the days where you looked up to your mother? who got 4 children ready for school, helped with homework while cooking dinner for 6 people and keeping the house tidy? Now people are looking up to celebrities who they THINK they know everything about, all because they saw their movie or purchased their album.
Anywho, I voted other. I dont think there is anything wrong with them. I like their music and they're not ashamed to show off what they have. hell if i looked like them and could dance like that, i'd be doing exact same thing. I'd kill for that kind of confidence. With saying that, i more than likely wouldnt let my 12 year old daughter go to their show or anything (if i had a daughter).
I think it's up to the parents to make the choice of what their CHILDREN listen to. if my 12 year old daughter threw a fit because i wouldnt let her get the cd, so be it.

I think the words of Sir Charles Barkley are appropriate here:
"I don't believe professional athletes should be role models. I believe parents should be role models.... It's not like it was when I was growing up. My mom and my grandmother told me how it was going to be. If I didn't like it, they said, "Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on your way out." Parents have to take better control."
I think this should extnd to sings and actors too.

I think they are bad role models. But as people have already said, it doesn't matter too much. I heard plenty of suggestive lyrics as a kid, I just didn't really "get" them, so they weren't of much consequence. I remember that Sex on the Beach song. They played it at a school disco when I was about 11 - in fact, one of the slightly older girls sang it karaoke. I thought it was absolutely gross! I remember it actually made me feel sick! LOL. And that song on Steps' first album, "Experienced," about some guy losing his virginity to an older woman, also gross!

In my opinion, they are not role models at all!
I have really nothing against them,but let's face it.They're just a bunch of ex-strippers.
Role models?
Give me a break

I believe them to be bad role models although they are probably nice people. The video and lyrics to the song "Buttons" is so inappropriate for children (who are a lot of their fans)
and the lyrics to "Beep" are just as bad. I also find it highly disturbing that they stated in many interviews that they stand for female empowerment. What the dolls don't realize is that there is no difference between a man telling you to take off your clothes and dance or a women who does that of her own accord and labels it "empowerment". They are still giving people what they want to see.

i cant sand them, dont like to really class anyone as a role model though, i just cant stand them, there music and image is cheap and there songs remind of watching a karoke with the 'girls down the street on stage' in the pub lol also i hate the fact that they all probably get paid a fortune and most of them dont look like they do anything at all.

I can't stand the pussy cat dolls, so no bad role models - but then i'm biased because I think they're the most annoying group on this planet.

Personally if I had a 8 year old daughter and I saw her dressed like PCD or listening to their music than I'd cry but for someone of my age (20) I think their fine.
When I was a kid/young teenager it was Steps, S Club 7 and all that cheesy pop music which was fun and innocent (On the surface cos a few of those Steps songs have naughty undertones which I've noticed now I'm older).
I think kids are growing up too fast nowadays and bands like PCD are not helping. They are making girls think "This is how I have to dress" "This is how I have to act"
In that sense I would say that they are a bad role model for young kids. Plus their last song 'When I grow up' really sucked.
