I <3 Obama.
I am a little concerned that my taxes may go up if/when he is elected, but I'm willing to take that risk since I think we need some major changes in our country.
Glad to see the results so far!

In America we are not a democracy (we're a republic, something most Americans don't even realize). Individual votes do not matter one bit when it comes to voting for the President (which makes the new movie "Swing Vote" complete and utter rubbish). We vote our electorits (how ever you spell it) in, and then we vote for the President. Our electorits then look at our votes and usually vote for which ever one is most popular among the people.
But not always.
It is entirely possible though improbable to have every single person in America vote for one person, and the other person actually gets the presidency. We have had two cases in the past where the person elected lost the popular vote. George Bush in his second term was one of them.
Good poll. Sorry about discussing things, I know that isn't why you made it.
Oh, and Obama all the way. Less so since he voted pro FISA bill... but, eh... so did McCain.

I am sorry to say that but it is true. I hate our electorly system. I live in wyoming which means we get 2 or 3 I can't remeber votes. come on California and texas wipe us off the voting map before we even start. I am part of this nation but not large enough to count. that is messed but. I do support more of McCains issues then Obamas though.
The number of electoral system a state gets is based on the state's population. Actually, have a smaller state means that your vote has a greater effect on where your state's electoral votes go. I mean, 2000 Democrats in Wyoming could give the state to Obama. That same number of Democrats in Texas would do nothing, even 20,000 wouldn't do anything. The state is still going to McCain.

Yes, we have indeed beat this issue to a pulp in other threads, so I will just say this:
Obama has his own ice cream flavor.
