Obama is my guy! In fact, I'd marry him if he wasn't already married!! Ok, that makes me look like a weirdo. I like the guy, what can I say?

Seriously, this annoys me so much. If you ask an English person who they support, the'll choose. Ask them what that candidate's policies include, and the majority will have NO idea !

I think many non-Americans are more informed about American politics than many Americans are. I wouldn't be so quick to lump them all in to the same category.

I'll rephrase and say "English people" then.

I'm English and you're right I don't know much about American politics, but then that goes for my knowledge on English politics too. Fact is I don't care much for any form of politics but be careful in saying English people don't know anything about American political subjects because a lot of people I know would probably know more about it than a lot of Americans lol.
They're very edumacated peeps.

I find that people from other countries are far more educated about the American political system than I am about their systems. For example, my boyfriend is Canadian and he knows the American system inside out. I on the other hand an boggled by a system that has more than two major parties.

My poor brain just can't deal with the left/right winged-ness of our English system lol. I'm much happier living in la-la land and voting for the one that sounds the best/all my friends vote for
Yeah I'm a sheep. Shaddap about it k >.>

I don't care who becomes America's new president really, just as long as who ever it is, they do a good job and help sort out some of the issues that exist

Not American, but support Obama. I know enough about each of the candidate's policies to make a decision

you forgot American and don't care.
I am sorry to say that but it is true. I hate our electorly system. I live in wyoming which means we get 2 or 3 I can't remeber votes. come on California and texas wipe us off the voting map before we even start. I am part of this nation but not large enough to count. that is messed but. I do support more of McCains issues then Obamas though.

Yeah, I'm not really looking for debating here. I think we've beat that issue to a pulp in previous threads

I'm not American but also important for me who will be next president. And I don't want another republican *******.

We need someone who knows more about the economy than McCain, at least. o_0 He's admitted to knowing nothing about it. And we're on our way into a really bad recession as is, thanks to our current republican. =/
But, I want a democrat to get rid of that abstinence-only funding program that the federal government is putting money into. $240 million this year for a program that has been proven time and again to be completely ineffective and dangerous.

Cryzilla, our votes won't count anyways, except in the popular vote
Kind of sad. I'll still vote, but it doesn't matter!
