My current boyfriend has taken some of me in the past, at the time it was something I wanted to do but afterwards I felt a little weird about it. I knew he'd keep them to himself but I was worried he might use them as a threat if we broke up or something. He reset his phone so they got deleted anyway but I think he could tell I wasn't totally up for it, he said at the time that he'd delete them if I asked him to at any point.

If I was in a relationship based on mutual trust (not just 'i-wanna-trust-you' kind of thing) I probably would do. But I don't like myself vunerable in any way so it would have to be the other person who sends me their picture first.

There are instances of things like this getting leaked in every school. The example I came across was a little more naughty than just pictures. A girl in my school sent a video of herself mast*ing to her boyfriend. Don't know how much trouble she got in, but the effects weren't plesant.
